Lessons from the Mouse by Dennis Snow is a book based on Snow s experience
working at Walt Disney World in Florida. Snow has managed to take what he

The Impact Of Transgenders In The Military
One of the big questions lurking in the United States is if transgenders can serve in
the military. As of right now they are temporarily not allowing transgenders into the
military. If they were to allow them there would be many things that they would
have to look at. There is things like where would they live to how would be treated.
They would have to decide what they would want to do with the ones currently
serving. There s just many factors to look at when trying to decide when something
like transgenders are becoming so popular in a society like ours today.
It all started in 2016 when Barack Obama let transgenders to enroll in the military.
Before this time there wasn t any problem with transgender because it just started to
become a thing in 2016. Barack Obama signed a policy in 2014 that banned people
who were openly gay, lesbian, and bisexuals from being in the military. There was
never anything about transgenders.
In 2015 things began to change, they now made it so that transgenders could serve.
Joe Biden put his input in on what he thought about the situation. He argued that they
should be able to serve. He said in a conference that he didn t want to anger anyone
currently serving that is transgender. A study was made to see how big of an impact
that transgenders would have on the military. They made the prediction that they
would cost little and have no significant impact on unit readiness. In 2016 they made

The early development of human consciousness seems to have given humans a
genetic predisposition to the belief in religion. During this early development many
chemicals known as entheogens were used during religious sacraments and

Angie Thomas novel The Hate U Give is the story of a teenage girl facing racism
in the world around her. Starr Carter lives in Garden Heights, a neighborhood filled
with gangs, when one of her best friends Khalil is shot by the police, she is quick to
know he had been killed because of the racism that exists in our world. Throughout
the novel, Starr is constantly trying to show the world why Khalil died in order to
get justice for his death. She does not believe he deserved to die or the cop who
shot Khalil deserves to walk free of the crime he committed. Through different
characters, the author is able to convey the message of one should not form opinions
on someone or something based on stereotypes. Throughout the novel, some
characters struggle with judging people before they know their past. Angie Thomas
is able to get this across to readers not only through Starr, but also characters such as
her father Maverick, her friends from school, and even Officer Cruise, the officer
who killed Khalil.
Stereotypes in the novel are one of the main causes for Khalil s death. The officer
had killed Khalil because he had automatically assumed Khalil was a threat to him.
Officer Cruise treated both Khalil and Starr with disrespect at the time of the arrest

The federally assisted meal program was created to safeguard the health and well
being of the nation s children and to encourage the consumption of American grown
commodities. The federal government would reimburse schools for student who
qualified for free or reduced meals. Students who didn t qualify were able to
purchase lunch, and their money was used to off set the costs of building new
facilities for the expanding program. The program started to expand because of the
increasing number of women working outside the home during the war (Winchell,
2009).
Since 1946 the National School Lunch Act s laws and regulations have been
