The renovations will include building additions like a new library, administration center, and classroom building, as well as interior and exterior repairs to existing facilities.
Invasive seaweed species have overtaken reefs in Kaneohe Bay for over 30 years. While a mechanical collector removes some seaweed, it returns quickly. Growing and releasing sea urchins is a potential solution as they eat invasive seaweeds. Students at Hale Kula Elementary grew sea urchins using different methods, finding higher survival rates using only ocean water versus a fresh/salt water mixture. In December 2012, surviving sea urchins were released into the ocean in hopes of controlling invasive seaweed growth.
The sea urchin project at Hale Kula Elementary School began in August 2012 when juvenile sea urchins were delivered. Fourth and fifth grade students received the first sea urchins to make observations and ask questions. The project aims to study sustainability and stewardship of sea urchins while also controlling invasive algae on reefs. Students from various grades are investigating questions like whether sea urchins prefer sand or coral habitats, and which foods help them grow faster. The long term goals are to increase environmental literacy, climate stewardship activities, and involve additional schools to sustain the program.
This document provides information about staffing changes and the upcoming school year at Hale Kula Elementary School. It introduces 8 new teachers and personnel changes in other grades. It outlines the school's mission to educate students to be effective members of a global society as lifelong learners and complex thinkers. It discusses focus areas for the 2012-2013 school year such as data teams, technology integration, goal setting, and thinking maps. It provides details on professional development resources and expectations for teachers and coaches to guide instructional improvements.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
