Tomorrow’s Assignment:
 Come up with norms for Data Team
 meetings, guidelines which we can all agree
 on to make our meetings more productive.
 Examples:
  Begin and end on time
  Come to the meeting with your
   “homework” completed
  No side conversations
 We will compile all grade level suggestions
   and come up with school-wide norms for
   Data Team meetings.
Role of the Coach
 Work with classroom teachers to ensure the
    required data is collected.
   Guide discussions about the data; work as a
    team to analyze the data and agree on SMART
    goals and instructional strategies every teacher
    will implement in their classroom.
   Work with classroom teachers and co-teach if
    requested to implement agreed-upon instructional
    strategies.
   Meet with the RTI and Data Coach at least once
    per month (e.g. during PE time) to review data for
    your classroom.
   Serve as a COACH to improve teaching and
    learning at Hale Kula.
Leilehua Complex K-12 Plan
1. 100% of teachers in the Leilehua Complex
  will integrate technology in their teaching and
  learning so students use technology and
  web2.0 tools to:
 Develop critical thinking skills
 Communicate
 Collaborate
 Create
Leilehua Complex K-12
Construct
2. 100% of teachers will teach a lesson on goal-
 setting, set a goal for the class, and track their
 progress. 80% of our students will set a goal for
 themselves for the year and track their progress.

3.100% of Leilehua Complex schools will use
  Thinking Maps as a common language for
  leadership. School teams will use Thinking Maps
  to organize thinking when problem-
  solving, analyzing data, goal- setting, action
  planning, etc.

  • 9. Tomorrow’s Assignment:  Come up with norms for Data Team meetings, guidelines which we can all agree on to make our meetings more productive. Examples:  Begin and end on time  Come to the meeting with your “homework” completed  No side conversations We will compile all grade level suggestions and come up with school-wide norms for Data Team meetings.
  • 10. Role of the Coach  Work with classroom teachers to ensure the required data is collected.  Guide discussions about the data; work as a team to analyze the data and agree on SMART goals and instructional strategies every teacher will implement in their classroom.  Work with classroom teachers and co-teach if requested to implement agreed-upon instructional strategies.  Meet with the RTI and Data Coach at least once per month (e.g. during PE time) to review data for your classroom.  Serve as a COACH to improve teaching and learning at Hale Kula.
  • 11. Leilehua Complex K-12 Plan 1. 100% of teachers in the Leilehua Complex will integrate technology in their teaching and learning so students use technology and web2.0 tools to:  Develop critical thinking skills  Communicate  Collaborate  Create

Leilehua Complex K-12 Construct 2. 100% of teachers will teach a lesson on goal- setting, set a goal for the class, and track their progress. 80% of our students will set a goal for themselves for the year and track their progress. 3.100% of Leilehua Complex schools will use Thinking Maps as a common language for leadership. School teams will use Thinking Maps to organize thinking when problem- solving, analyzing data, goal- setting, action planning, etc.
