Title I is a federal program that provides additional funding to schools to ensure all children have access to a high-quality education. Schools use a Needs Assessment to determine how to spend Title I funds on initiatives like hiring reading interventionists, instructional materials, and parenting supplies to support students, teachers, and families. The whole community works together, including teachers, staff, parents, and local members, with the goal of helping students through Title I funding.
