Ravi Kumar founded DilSeBol, a company that customizes merchandise like t-shirts and mugs with designs provided by customers. He was motivated by similar successful ventures in the US and felt the concept could work in India as internet usage was growing. DilSeBol allows customers to upload designs and complete the ordering process online. Ravi hopes TiE Chennai can help creative entrepreneurs like him access potential investors and customers.

These are the slides that I used for the opportunity identification (discovery, recognition, creation) talk at the Eureka Tech Academy event on November 19, 2015 at the Prince Sumaya University of Technology (PSUT). The talk was translated into Arabic for the audience, as I spoke in English (except to say hello, and ask one question :-).
The Eureka Tech Academy event was part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities happening in Jordan.
Note: I didn't go through all the slides during the talk, and just hit several main points, due to a time limit. So having the slides posted here allows people to see the entire slides for the talk.

I am a dedicated creative professional with +10 years experience in digital marketing. My innate curiosity and hands-on attitude made me develop a wide range of skills, from copywriting to graphic design, from web application development to project management. My strongest asset, I believe, must be my talent to merge business objectives with creative delivery. Hence I’m a great supporter of design thinking methodology which believes that true innovation can only emerge when we are able to step outside of our framework of thoughts. Apart from my day job I’m also involved in some startups.

to innovate. Creative sales pitches from marketing wizards will make design thinking sound very easy, but that is one of the many misconceptions in this field. However, starting with the right expectations and following tested implementation tips can help bring very tangible benefits to BPO organizations.

An astonishing, first-of-its-kind, report by the NYT assessing damage in Ukraine. Even if the war ends tomorrow, in many places there will be nothing to go back to.
