Family nurse practitioners are much more interested in improving the general quality of nursing care and services delivery to the patients. I believe that family nursing practitioner profession is very vital in improving the quality of care by serving a very unique function in the medical care system. This is through the development of lasting relationships with patients and viewing the success of patients within the greater family and community framework.
My research topic of interest is Obesity and Weight Management Programs. The reason why I choose doing this research is due to the day by day increasing mortality rates and considerable morbidity that are linked with obesity due to the impact that it has on other conditions such as type 2 diabetes, reproductive diseases, cancer as well as gastrointestinal diseases. (Tappen, 2016). Obese individuals face a incessant, enduring struggle. This makes obesity to be one of the most prevalent diet-related health problems globally and more so in the United States. It places a significant burden on healthcare systems. There is, therefore, the importance of research to better understand the problem and how it can be maintained.
According to Lean, et al., (2018) there was a projection by the government that by the turn of 21st century, less than of 20% of adults aged 20 years and above and no more than 15% of adolescents aged 12 and above should not be overweight. This goal has not been achieved; rather, the United States is moving father rather than closer to the goal. The prevalence of overweight and obesity continues to rise and not falling.

The present study aimed to examine the effect of the entrepreneurial orientation (EO) on organizational performance (OP). This study was motivated by the mixed findings in literature regarding the relationships between EO and organizational performance. Owing to the mixed results, a novel stream of research was created and this motivated further examining of the impact of other variables that may shed a light on the nature of the relationship. Several theories have been proposed in literature posit the direct relationships among strategies, resources and capabilities as antecedents of success. In this study, copies of questionnaires were distributed to 300 Libyan banks branches, where 200 copies of questionnaires were returned and analyzed. The proposed hypothesis was tested through PLS-SEM and the study results showed that EO positively predicted organizational performance.

Effects of Gender Diversity on Job Performance in the Banking Industry
6 December 2019
Statement of the Problem
Gender diversity and inclusion of women in top executive management and boards of directors add value to an organization. For example, gender diversity can add value to problem solving, resulting in better performance of the company (Joshi, 2017). Including more gender diversity in a firm may also increase the effectiveness of the firm because of a better understanding of the needs of stakeholders, better risk management and business practices. It also enhances decision making by adding new ideas and perspectives. The banking sector is one sector that can enjoy and benefit gender diversity.
The banking sector faces many challenges from increased competition, a high rate of technological growth and increased regulations by the government. This has led banks to compete for the best employees. Workforce diversity is achieved through gender diversity, age diversity and ethnicity diversity. Research show that proper management of workforce diversity has a positive outcome in any organization (Rizwan et al. 2016). Studies have shown that organizations with a high level of workforce diversity management are effective in producing corporate cultures that pioneer capabilities and fresh idea for survival.
There has been an increase in workforce gender diversity in firms and organizations. However, few studies have focused on examining the relationship between gender diversity and job performance for over three decades. Also, these studies provide conflicting results on diversity. Empirical research found that gender diversity is either good or bad for an organization (Ali et al. 2009). For example, Svyantek and Bott (2004) did a review on nine diversity studies investigating this relationship and they found inconsistent results. The studies showed positive effect, negative effect, zero effect and nonlinear effects. If business turned to this body of literature for hiring practices insights, they would find conclusive evidence on what to do.
One study indicates that fostering gender diversity improves the outcomes of the firm while others claim the opposite. Another body of study claims that gender diversity and organizational performance are not connected (Joshi, 2017). This leaves private sectors including the banking sector to rely on past evidence, anecdotal assertions and stereotypes. Consequently, this creates a problem.
Despite efforts by the government to foster gender diversity at the workplace through policies and practices, gender diversity has fallen short in the sector. This is partly because of the resistance by the banking industry because of lack of rigorous evidence on how gender diversity shapes their outcomes. The existing literature only examines gender diversity in senior management and corporate rooms, but reaching these positions depends on the resources and opportunities women are afford ...

Abstract: Today, researchers have been exploring employee’s resistance to change and how to
foresee these aversive behaviors during organizational change process (Armenakis & Harris, 2002, Dent
& Goldberg, 1999, Oreg & Sverdlik, 2011). Some employees view organizational change in a negative
way even if change efforts will results in favorable consequences for them. At this point,
communication process has a crucial effect on the perception of employees towards change process. In
addition, several studies confirm the role of perceived justice in the organization during organizational
change. So, the effects of communication and perception of justice on behaviors of employees during
change process and the contribution of communication on resistance to change through perception of
organizational justice was explored. The research was conducted among 583 employees in Turkey. The

EXECUTIVE SUMMARYHigh medical attendants' turnover is an issue at presently influencing the organization. The organization loses at least 5 medical caretakers every year. The expense incurred, and time engaged with topping off these positions are over $75,000 per nurse. There is likewise a negative impact on patient care results.Bring exhaustion and disappointment among other nurses and employees who must top off these positions.
For decades now, nurse turnover has been affecting the medical industry. On average, hospitals have been losing between $5 million to $8 million due to this turnover (Yoder-Wise, 2013). The current record at the organization shows that we lose 25 nurses yearly and thus the purpose of this change implementation and management plan. The plan will bring changes to the institution and in the process reduce this turnover.
Nurses turnover is having negative effect on the patient outcome. According to researchers Grove, Burns and Gray (2013), nurse turnover hampers the delivery of efficient healthcare services. Patient falls, especially amongst surgery patients become rampant due to inadequate staffing.
My personal experience of the impact that nurses’ turnover have on the workplace is overworking the remaining staff. Excess overworked will lead to burnout and dissatisfaction among other employees who must fill up these positions.

Proposal to incorporate science in the hiring process
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED CHANGE
This proposal will see the organization change its entire recruitment strategy.
Incorporating science into the hiring process will increase the chances of the organization retaining its employees.
The current hiring process is non predictive. Organization should take advantage of the predictive analytics tools and other current technologies.
These assessment technologies enable organizations measure the cultural, behavioral and cognitive characteristics of individuals, to determine how well particular candidates for the nurses’ positions fit in the organizational culture (El, & Ali-Hassan, 2019).
JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
In the event the proposal goes through, the organization’s hiring process will change to behavioral and structural interviews with a view of establishing specific attributes in the candidates.
El and Ali-Hassan (2019) states that a selection process that hinges on science is the best way healthcare organizations can increase their odds of hiring nurses who will stay for the long term.
El and Ali-Hassan (2019) acknowledges that analytics and big data is intimidating to people who do not consider themselves technologically savvy, therefore it will be a requirement in the recruitment process.
The data to analyze will be from consumer data, social media platforms, public resources and hospital’s personnel data.
After generating the data, the.

Employee retention is the dream of a human resource manager, especially if these individuals are self-motivated and competent. Replacement and retraining of a new workforce is always expensive and destabilizing, and the organization might lose opportunities as it concentrates on remaining staffed (De Clercq, Mohammad Rahman, & Belausteguigoitia, 2017). James (2016) has identified unresolved disputes as one of the main reasons why the turnover rate is still significantly high. The proposed study is the ‘influence of dispute resolution on employee retention’, and it will have a positive impact not just on the business community but also the society in general.
· Problem Statement
The average employee turnover rate in the US is over 15% and over 20% in Canada. At least 63% of these leave upon resignation, and another 30% are fired. In most of these cases, the drastic measures are direct consequences of unresolved disputes. According to Santos, Uitdewilligen, & Passos (2015), there is yet another significant number of workers who are demoralized to the extent of being underproductive. Therefore, the organization is still losing as a result of escalated disputes even if the employees choose to stay. Effective dispute resolution mechanisms would not only motivate but also dissuade the workers from opting to resign. Based on the statistics, an appropriate dispute resolution framework is lacking (Santos et al., 2015; Torchia, Calabrò, & Morner, 2015). The proposed study is geared towards establishing the steps which the management would take to ensure that a positive work environment is maintained, and hence reduce the turnover rate.
· Purpose Statement
The research will be deductive since the goal is to arrive at an objective dispute resolution framework. The idea is to predict an appropriate intervention, and hence hypotheses to be tested will be established to gain the understanding of the phenomenon being investigated. The study will employ rating scales and also rank items. This is because it will be predominantly quantitative in nature. Nonetheless, the mixed methods are preferable for arriving at an exhaustive conclusion (Tong et al., 2018).
The study seeks to establish the correction between such follower characteristics as agreeableness, competence, openness, and focus of control; leader characteristics like agreeableness, extraversion, contingent reward behavior, and transformational leadership; as well as interpersonal relationship factors like self-promotion, assertiveness, perceived similarity, leader’s trust with the consequences. The consequences in this case is role conflict, role ambiguity, affective commitment, and turnover intentions. This is a quantitative study of UnitedHealth Group Inc. which is a Minnetonka-based firm with over 270,000 employees spread across thousands of locations in .

Increased human activities in the Arctic has led to the diminishment of Arctic sea ice, about 70,000 km2 per year and has raised concerns for the region’s future. Measurements show that the ice has grown thinner, approximately 40% in the last two decades. The region is opened to increased human activities like commercial shipping, Arctic oil and gas exploration, in addition to deposition of soot by the maritime vessels. Black carbon from incomplete combustion is lodging over the ice and is causing graying of ice caps which was once a reflective surface to absorb more of sunlight and warm the water. Increased water temperatures are having grave impacts on the flora and fauna that are dependent on ice. In near future Polar bears are likely to face extinction as their breeding habitat is given to melting ice. Trapped green house gases like methane are released due to the melting areas of permafrost. Some simple maths can give us the glimpse of the complexity faced by the scientists in handling ice-ocean-climate models.

It may either be a perception which is created by an individual, a group or an idea which is constructed because of a culture. The present society has created a large number of constructs which are not good. In this research paper, the discussion will be done on the social construction of race and gender and the problems associated with the same. In addition to this, how can social construct forms to be the basis for discrimination and prejudice? Further, racism and sexism will be discussed with examples and the role of power in the same. To end, patriarchy will be discussed and its role in racism and sexism will be added
A daydream has to be sweet and hence the term dream. A coffee day dream for a girl combines not only the right coffee but also gives her a lucid daydream on similar sweet elements, making her a princess in a castle waiting to be rescued by a prince. This pretty much forms the thematic background for the animation advertisement ‘Coffee Daydream’. Visual effects set the mood here as the viewer watches a girl having coffee, she sprinkles sugar on the coffee and when the advertisement is over she has completed her coffee and her dream. The use of visual technology adds the elements for the dream which is very subtly weaved into the story plot. Techniques of compositing, particle effects and smoke animation are used here to represent the goodness of the coffee being advertised for.
Organizational Management has been defined as the style of managing business of an organization is big or small. This management process involves the process of organizing, planning, leading and controlling the resources along with the main essence of achieving the goal of the business as well. The reason why organizational management is approached is that it provides better decision making capabilities which is both effective and useful to the way in which an organization can run and also carry on proper management strategies (Nikolakopulos, n.d.).

The recent downturn in the economy and recent failures in the business have been merged for the creation of a financial environment to make reports unlike any other within present memory. There has been a major impact on the confidence of investors that had been shaken up by an increase in the volatility within the markets of capital. This has further been followed up by unsettlement in the extremely publicized restatements being drafted for the statements of finance (Bond and Cummins 2010). These have resulted in the generation of several questions regarding the quality being presented in the reports of finance.

Title: Millennium Bridge at London - Steel Structure Failure
This is 320 m span aluminum and steel bridge across the river Thames. This bridge has steel structure failure because it had vertical, lateral and torsional stiffness. The problem occurred because of side vibration of the bridge deck because of pedestrian lateral excitation. The main reasons for this failure were lateral stiffness of the deck and low damping potential which happens in steel structure only. This bridge was made of two dimensional cable truss. The stiffness in this bridge structure caused this failure in this bridge. Therefore, this bridge was closed for few days to fix the problem. It is therefore highly relates to steel structure failure and is suitable for the case study as well. This problem was rectified with help of installation of lateral dampers. All these characteristics of this bridge failures relates to steel structure failure.
With time the whole of the world is being influenced by the social media like YouTube (Bennett & Strange, 2011). The impact of YouTube can be seen in some recent TV programs and feature films. Some of the new TV programs and feature films have adopted the key elements of YouTube aesthetics, including the found dotage device and hand – held camera work to influence the viewers of the authenticity of a viewpoint of character or of narrative (Snickars & Vonderau,2009).
The following paper compares and contrasts the three recent feature films and TV programs, including 127 Hours, Paranormal Activity 3, and Blue Valentine. Each of these movies utilized the same element of YouTube aesthetics that is hand held camera work

Social media has rapidly grown as a forum for political discourse and activism. Its various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube etc. are providing a plethora of new ways to engage citizens in politics (Benkler, 2006). A great advantage inherent in social media is the possibility of personal, ie., one to one communication. Politicians as well as political parties are seemingly benefitting with this new found ability to reach out to their potential voters. It has become possible for politicians to reach voters in a well targeted manner without relying on the media as an intermediary (Gentle, 2012). Various reactions, messages, feedbacks and debates are generated online. In addition to this, support for offline causes of a political party are also generated through social media petitions
This research proposal is on the effect of the lending of bank capital and the link between the actual financial condition and the real activities that has been going around. This has succeeded in gaining a lot of attention in past few times because of the financial crisis the world has seen. The techniques of panel-regression can be used to study the lending techniques of bank’s large holdings and companies and the effects small or big of capital on lending (Pelosky, 1991). Then the effect of the capital ratios will be concluded using a variant model, and again the researcher will look for the results that are in marked contrast to estimate obtained by using simple practical relations between the aggregate commercial-bank assets and leverage growth, this has recently been very powerful which was kind of influential for policy maker’s as a result point of views regarding how the loan growth is affected by the bank capital. The models which have been estimated will be used to understand the recent developments in bank lending

Music to me is an art that stands amongst a few other things I enjoy profoundly. Music is something I can turn to in whichever mood I’m in. It can cheer me up when I’m feeling down. It can calm me down when I’m worked up and very often it has been able to give me good energy. It can motivate me when I feel demotivated with anything. Music has also been a great source of inspiration to me. Music alone has not captured me but lyrical content has also contributed towards my love for music
Modern HRM practices try to recruit employees within the organization. The reasons for internal recruitment are as follows. It is less time consuming in order to hire resources within the company. There is no need for extensive skill assessment process. Employee is well known to the company. There is no need to scout for new candidates. This increases procedural efficiency (Moser, 2005). This process of internal hiring ensures that the employees within the organization sense job security (Chan, 1996). Apart from this it has been observed that new hires joining rate is lesser when compared to internal employees. It takes time for the external candidate to understand the official process of the company. During certain times for some positions there is high employment rate. There is lack of external resources during this time internal sourcing is preferred by the companies (Moser, 2005). This process is saves time. This is found to boost productivity and overall morale of the company

Literature Review
This paper reveals the relationship of FTSE board and environment policy of their companies
listed. According to Lovell and Liverman (2010) suggested that they are inspired in their
reassessment of carbon trading procedures due to the lack of some world class standards and
Also it is similarly deregulated by the deficiency of broadly recruited international standards
or policy for intentional carbon reporting of carbon emission. Consolidating the analysis in
regard to the investors’ wants for data has permitted the researchers for well understanding
the various methods to evaluate the procedures that are used to develop the emission of
carbon reports, and also hoping that the social world of monetary services mediators,
controller and carbon consultancies.
The important aspect of analysing on attitudes, perceptions on environmental as well as
insight over the risk, environmental impartiality society partisanship, and activism,
exploratory a range of countries and traditions reveals that female be inclined to articulate
diverse distress about the surroundings than men. Female usually largely lively in
environmental improvement activities and be inclined to observe ecological risks as more
intimidating as stated by (Buckingham, 2010; Flynn et al., 1994; Bord and O’Connor, 1997;
Davidson and Freudenburg, 1996; Dietz et al., 2002; Kalof et al., 2002; Eisler et al., 2003;
McCright, 2010; Seager, 1996). Moroever, McCright (2010) have also identified recently
those women who resides in the US show better scientific awareness of global change in
weather condition, come up to the subject of climate change in a different way, and articulate
diverse issues and latent explanation to trouble. In totalling, even though these fails as lively
as men in typical firms on environment, women are approximate to formulate up 60% to 80%
of popular membership in organisation actively supports ecology was stated by (Bell and
Braun, 2010; Seager, 1996; Stoddart and Tindall, 2010). Additional, assay reveals that female
frequently adduce their job role as carers as the principal acumen in many environmental
organisations as stated by (Bell and Braun, 2010; Shrada et al 2008)
In agreement of abeyant outline modes, researchers who analysis on gender basis who centre
on companies altercate that establishment and amusing customs are largely depend over the
gender. Moreover, study from Acker (2006, p. 9), acclamation the change of trade
association, contends that ‘‘a almost baby accumulation of western ethnic men groups out the
progress of backer manufacture, adjustment forms of macho ascendancy as built-in to arising
chic dealings, and acclimation the new firms, and, afterwards, the new companies relying on

administration of activity is the apprehension that an agent can plan continued or odd hours

wants of the employers
Most of the examples are oriented on male oriented business practices in organization that
accept in the past afar staff. (Buckingham et al., 2005)These focuses on top level making of
business decisions, the use of abstruse accent that banned compassionate by staffs who lack
expertise in this field, and abnegation to cover women or aboriginal employers, customers,
staffs in action consultation or executive. Institutional prejudices appear abstruse answers as
well are based on gender, as analysis shows that women adopt accident abhorrence and
declared solutions (Boyd, 2002; Stevens, 2010).
Armstrong (2006) also argues that motivation for job oriented training and development are
typically linked which states that tiny transformations amid the workers. Training and
development leads to the acquirement of skills and abilities required to home. It deals with
the delivery of learning and improvement of the workforce. In contrast, development of the
employees as well as organisations prepares well for future projects of the company. He also
argues that motivation for training of employees can be regarded as the investment which
offers the long term benefits for the firms by enhancing the performance of the employees.
Effective training can always reach paramount for survival and growth of the business, as
reported by Wilson (2006). He also debates that apprenticeship or internship is not merely
developing staffs other than assisting the trainees, but to be converted into highly confident
and also capable and talented to execute any kind of jobs also their lives. The main
significance of training can be achieved long term. The need for training of workforce
continues to progress in this high competitive business climate, growth, and also knowledge,
economy as well as society in large face. So, if appropriate training is given for women staffs,
environmental impacts can be easily overcome which hopes for upliftment.
According to Muhammed et al (2011) reports that training promotes the male and female
equally contributes to the organisation. Also, it may be described that performance of the
staffs might pave the way to the efficiency of the firm. So as to attain this, employees have
got to be encouraged equally which promotes for equal contribution. According to Bolman &
Deal (2008), high quality of service can be rendered to the consumers for highly motivated
and dedicated employees. This factor is a very important one in current business management
environment. Earlier works from Masarech & Ann (2003) points out that most number of
4. 4
organisations of services segment like banks receive their staffs as worthy assets and show
attention to their training and knowledge progression.
According to Ram et al (2011), a great number of firms had commenced investing large
amount of funds in advancing the staffs into a greatly skilled Human Resource personnel of
the firm. The great strength functioning at the back of this insight is the superior revenue
performance of that specific firm in services segment which is largely relied over the
satisfaction level of their workforce. For instance, in case a particular member of the firm is
not dissatisfied from that company and also possess least amount of motivation then their
psychological accusation will unquestionably come into sight in the contour of less quality
consumer services. As in case of services segment, the workers straight get in touch with the
consumer so it leaves unswerving collision of internal position on the consumer, and
eventually resultant on poor satisfaction of consumers.
Regrettably, women in common, abnormally poor females are degraded in altitude alteration
and controlling bodies stated by Villagrasa, 2002; Norgaard and York, 2005; Shandra et al.,
2008; Bell and Braun, 2010). On the other hand, much number of research publications on
the rapport between gender and weather change is essential to measure the significance of
counting women and other conventionally underrepresented groups in decision-making
bodies. Even though there is a noticeably body of investigate measuring the structural forces
pouring a range of kinds of environmental filth, which is extensively reviewed above, to the
best of our knowledge and also research publications are deficient to associate the impact of
female’s management and employment status on per capita CO2 emissions. So, this study,
investigates on the relationship between FTSE companies who have high number of female
managers and their corresponding EIO ranking.

Upon conducting correlation analysis, it was observed that there is a negative correlation
among FTSE companies and UK EIO rankings at the level of 95% confidence. The
correlation coefficient is close to 1 and that states that there exist a statistically significant
negative association between female FTSE companies and EIO ranks in 2013. This suggests
that there is no connection between gender and EIO ranking in UK based FTSE companies in
2013.

On the other hand, analysing the companies which are having low female employees in board
as well as firm was analysed for its EIO ranking, the r value or correlation coefficient value is
observed to be 0.01. The value is positive stating the association between the two. The value
is slightly close to 1. This can be explained that there is a slight positive association among
EIO rankings and low women board members Company in FTSE. The data analysis, on the
whole observed that there is a gender inequality in EIO ranking of FTSE companies which
accounts for lack of correlation among the two.
Analysis of findings
The above results suggest the gender equality is observed while tracking the environmental
investment impact records in UK database since there is no significant correlation achieved
among the two. According to Denton (2007) have also observed that women are generally
victims of degradation of environment. He also continues stating that given these results,
have suggested that participation of board and staff members of women in the process of
decision-making process are always invaluable in the process of decision making regarding
environmental concerns. Shandra et al (2008) have also suggested that there is a greater
inequality that exists in the politics that contribute to the less action towards the addressing
the nation regarding the environmental change. So, enhancing the status of women in the
society all over the world may curtail of the ill effects of environmental awareness and social
responsibility for emission of green house gases such as carbon mono oxide, methane, argon
etc which will consequences out to the dramatic rise in weather condition that occurs in long
duration forecast of societies. Thus it must be understood clearly that representation of female
in decision making all round the various nations must change in order to have many national
policies for change in environmental policies. However, further investigation is necessary to
compare the environmental measures of men and women and their effectiveness.
Recommendations and Conclusion
The analysis recommends that women have poor roles in deciding the ecological
responsibility. Widespread training programs will help in increasing their decision making to

join hands in environmental support. Women are generally underrepresented in the social and
ecological impact. The role played by the female in Environmental investment of funds and
minimisation of emission of carbon di oxide which is a type of green house gas accounts for
global climatic change is very less. By offering the awareness for initiating the involvement
of female is very significant for any company. The analysis suggests the gender inequality
which means males are caring on environment aspect not women. Women are now taking
lead roles and they must be trained as well for decisive regarding this alarming situation
which degrades many lives. Both male and female must be participated equally in an
organisation to bring up this minimisation of carbon emission and upliftment of rank as well
as turnover. We are living in 21st
century, where men and women play their equal roles in
society.
