This thesis was presented to the faculty of the College of Hospitality Management at EULOGIO “AMANG” RODRIGUEZ INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Tourism degree. The thesis examines how local tourists in the Philippines perceive Filipino tour guides based on a study conducted by Liean Joie L. Villanueva, Marigail I. Esteban, and Jane Augustine L. Lappay in 2012.

This study used a descriptive correlational survey method to examine the impact of social networking sites as information dissemination tools of government agencies as perceived by second year Foreign Service students at Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite Campus. Questionnaires were administered to 82 second year Foreign Service students to collect data on the role and impact of social networking sites, and their potential benefits as public information tools. A Likert scale was used to analyze the data and determine student perceptions.

Sensory and objective tests were conducted to analyze the effects on mouthfeel, color, taste, volume, and cell size. Cashew butter was similar to peanut butter in mouthfeel while Nutella produced a significant difference. Soy butter was comparable to peanut butter in color but Nutella differed significantly. None of the substitutes were alike to peanut butter in taste. Volume and cell size were similar across variables when objectively tested. The purpose was to determine if substituting other nut proteins could make peanut butter cookies acceptable for those with peanut allergies to consume.

1) This study examines the level of effectiveness of social studies teachers in teaching at Bataan National High School for the 2012-2013 school year. It aims to determine how teacher characteristics, student characteristics, and school facilities affect teacher effectiveness.
2) The study surveyed 22 social studies teachers and their students. It assessed teacher effectiveness using a performance appraisal and examined relationships between teacher effectiveness and other factors.

Rizal's life in UST
Rizal studied at the University of Santo Tomas in 1877, taking philosophy and letters. During this time, he experienced discrimination from Spanish professors and founded a secret society called Companerismo to protect Filipino students from harassment. Rizal was unhappy at UST due to the hostile Dominican professors and racist treatment of Filipino students. Despite this, he excelled in his studies and won several literary contests with his poems, dramas, and other writings.
Mandaya Ethnic Tribe
