Theoretical Framework
The Constructivist Theory served as the foundation for this study. According to
Cunanan-Cruz (2002), constructivism is an educational paradigm in which learners build
their own knowledge using their innate ability to reason, knowledge gained from their
environment, or a combination of both, leading to an independent, intellectual learner.
Constructivism has an impact on instructional theory by promoting experiential, project-
based, project-based, project-based, and task-based learning. It is an approach to
education that places emphasis on the ways knowledge is created while exploring the
world. It has roots in cognitive psychology and biology. The teacher's job now is to provide
a number of cultural activity reasons that are dispersed throughout a specifically designed
environment, and to keep from interfering in any way. The enormous task being done can
only be assisted by human teachers, just as servants assist their master. By doing this,
they will be able to see how the human soul develops and how a New Man emerges who
will not be a victim of circumstance but rather have the clarity of mind to guide and mold
the course of human society.
According to Gagne's Theory of Instruction (Corry, 1996), the "conditions of
learning," which he divides into internal and external conditions, are the fundamental
concepts of instruction. The internal circumstances relate to the learner's capacity for
previously acquired knowledge. Or, to put it another way, what the learner already
understands. The stimuli (a word used only by behaviorists) that are provided to the
learner on the outside are dealt with by the external circumstances. He created
educational events. These activities are meant to encourage the transmission of
information or knowledge from perception through the stages of memory. The following
is an example of how Gagne's theory is applied.
