Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, was a famous children's book author born in 1904. Some of his most well-known books include Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who!, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. He wrote and illustrated over 44 books that have been translated into over 15 languages and sold over 200 million copies. While he passed away in 1991 before social media, his legacy lives on through movie adaptations and fans sharing his work online.

 He was born in 1904 in Springfield
Massachusetts. He was know as
Ted by his family and friend. Seuss
pursued his career in writing
children’s books with great
