   He was born in 1904 in Springfield
    Massachusetts. He was know as
    Ted by his family and friend. Seuss
    pursued his career in writing
    children’s books with great
    success. Dr. Seuss passed away in
    September of 1991.
 Almost all kids grew up being read Dr. Seuss
  books.
 His books are almost like classics and in my house,
  there is no throwing away of these books. It is
  something that will be passed down the
  grandchildren.

    be.
       The Cat in the Hat:
           There has been many other books by Dr. Seuss that have
            incorporated the Cat in the Hat.
       Some of those include:

 Many of the books have also become movies or

  are able to keep the legacy of Dr. Seuss alive.
