3. What
does your
startup do?
Ever wondered how cool it would be if you can just take out your pencil, draw out something and make it
real.
At CircuiTricks, we do just the same!
CircuiTricks is a Do It Yourself (DIY) kit for school students which allows them to draw out working
electrical circuits. While other foreign companies use expensive conductive ink, we use just pencil
and paper!
So just take out a paper, draw out drums on it and
make it work!
Or take a guitar cut out, draw the strings on it
and it will work!
This allows kids to learn electronics in a
creative manner allowing a space to create
something remarkable.

field Nirman decided to explore this market through tangible products
and stumbled upon the idea of CircuiTricks, his second start-up.

Sohil Patel

Sohil Patel is a electrical engineer graduated from Nirma University. After
dropping his high paid job at Google, he discovered the immense
potential of entrepreneurism within him. Today, he has co-founded 3
enterprises and is now working on CircuiTricks to better the face of
education in India and empower the spirit of tomorrow’s innovation.
6. How is
your startup
different
from the
other
startups?
At CircuiTricks we believe in taking simple things from everyday life and create something magical out of
that. Blending a sense of innovation with creativity, it has become our mission to change the face of
education in India, and empower the future of tomorrow by maximizing their creativity.
Our start-up just does not sell a product, it sells an innovation which will empower kids who will shape the
future of tomorrow. It allows us to create our own market in the education sector and this becomes
the uniqueness of our start-up.
Besides, there are a few foreign companies that create Do It Yourself kits to draw out working electrical
circuits. However, they use expensive conductive ink pen which drastically raises the cost of the kit.
This shrinks the market size to privileged kids only. At CircuiTricks we have bettered this technology
for India and all the kids who cannot afford expensive materials. We just use regular pencil and
paper to do the same.
Additionally, at CircuiTricks we do not just believe in selling a DIY Kit, we believe in promoting a vision. A
vision to change the way kids approach studies at school and empower them to make creative
things by pushing their thinking forward
7. How is
your startup
transforming
India?
We believe that people who have changed the world are the ones who have thought creatively and
differently. We have empowered this though at CircuiTricks by fostering the mind-set of creativity
within kids in schools around India. From private schools, to government ones to NGOs. We have
spread our arms as far as we can to promote creative thinking among the kids.
One way we do this is by CircuiTricks workshops. We take a bunch of kits to schools and give them out to
kids and teach them how they can foster their creativity through the new found technique of
drawing out working electrical circuits. We give them the freedom to make anything they want
allowing them to dream that they can make something remarkable irrespective of their classroom
grades.
8. How is
your startup
transforming
India?
Standardizes exams and social pressure keep young adults confused about their future. However, we at
CircuiTricks believe that a better future is build only when one realises the things that he/she loves
doing. And this realization may not start at an early age, but what can start is a creative thinking
that is needed in all fields. And we strive to implant seeds of the same.
The CircuiTricks book named : A Little bit of CircuiTricks to
better explain the endless possibilities of the CircuiTricks
kit
9. How is
your startup
transforming
India?
Through fostering creativity in kids, and allowing them to do something that they love doing; we are
preparing a better base for the future of our nation. These kids will grow up to become the
forefront of unique thinking and we at CircuiTricks would be glad to be a little part of their
improved thinking.
