The United States uses bills and coins as currency. Bills come in denominations of $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100, each featuring a different U.S. President. Coins come in denominations of the penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and half dollar. The dollar sign ($) indicates the currency and cents are noted with the cent sign (₵).
