Arctic and Alpine tundra are the two main types of tundra. Arctic tundra is a cold, treeless, low-lying plain found in northern parts of Europe, Asia, Canada and Greenland around the Arctic Ocean. It includes areas like Lapland, Scandinavia, Siberia and most of Greenland.
