My Tundra Project By: Emma A.
The two types of tundra are Arctic Tundra and Alpine Tundra.
Artic Tundra is a cold, vast treeless area of low swampy plains in the far north around the Artic Ocean
Tundra covers Europe, Asia, North America, Alaska, Canada, and most of Greenland.
Alpine Tundra is treeless because of high elevation rather than high altitude
Permafrost is permanently frozen subsoil, which makes this impossible for trees to grow.
Some Tundra animals are: Arctic foxes, wolves, and polar bears.
