Trapist-1 is an ultra cool dwarf star located about 40 light years from Earth. It hosts seven Earth-sized exoplanets known as T1b through T1h. These planets have extremely short orbital periods, with the outermost planet completing its revolution every 20 Earth days. Due to the proximity to the small and cool red dwarf star, liquid water cannot exist on the surfaces of these planets. However, two of the inner planets may be able to support liquid water under the right atmospheric conditions, raising the possibility of life.
