2. Hello, what is your name? I am
interested in prehistory and I want
to know things about you.
• Hello, my name is Ganzonozu. If you want
we can be friends.

3. Where do you live?
• I live in a cave with my parents and 18
relatives.

4. Have you got brothers and sisters ?
• I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters

5. What clothes do you wear?
• We make clothes with skins of animals
that we hunt.

6. How do you sew skins?
• With tendons . We
use them for ropes
and clothes. As
decoration, we use
tusk and shells.

7. What animals do you hunt?
• Mammoth,bison, deer…we also catch fish
and gather fruit.

8. What do you believe in?
• In the forces of nature, the sun, the rain,
the river, the wind ...

9. How do you do the paintings?
• We paint paintings of animals, scenes of
hunting. We use pigments with one or two
colors, black and red ,such as coal or
minerals in oxide mixed with resin.

10. What techniques do you use to
paint?
• One technique is the buffing, which
consists in : we blow with a hollow reed
and the pigments are printed on the wall.
Another technique is coating: the hands
and fingers with grease and resin.

11. What Do You Eat?
• We cook the animals we hunt and fish

12. How do you hunt?
• We make tools such as spears,
harpoons…

13. How long do you live?
• We live up to 30 years or so

14. How many individuals are there in a
group?
• Between 15 and 20 people

15. How do you bury people of your
tribe when they die?
• One of the monuments where we bury
people is the dolmen and it is a mass
grave, consisting of upright stones capped
by horizontal stones. Other types are the
mounds. They have a corridor leading to a
circular chamber where the deceased
was.
