The Fifth Grade  Star Gazer Project
APUS You can see Apus in December at 9:00pm. It has 4 main stars.  It has a bright star.  The family of Aups is bayer It does NOT have a meteor shower.
Ara You can see Ara best in the season of July at 9:00 pm. The northwest corner of Ara is crossed by the Milky Way galaxy. Ara’s brightest star is Arae the doubled star. Ara is situated between Scorpius and TraingulumAustrale. Ara was idetified as the godess of wine. Ara is believed to have four planets orbiting it. The legend of my constellation is ancient Greek mythology, Ara was identified as the altar of Lycaon who sacrificed a child.
Australe Australe is best seen in  July at 9:pm.  Australe  has three brightest stars that are called the three patriarchs. Australe was name after Johan Bayer . The declination of australe is 65 degrees.  The stars that australe has are called Abraham, Isaac , and Jacob.
Cancer Cancer is best seen in March at 9:00 pm. Its name is Latin for crab. Cancer is small. Its one of the 13 constellations of zodiac. Cancer’s symbol is . Cancer is a crab of zodiac.
Canis Minor Canis Minor is a small constellation. It contains only two bright stars. The two stars are called, Procyon, and Gomeisa. This constellation, known as Canis minor is also called, The lesser Dog. It is named after a legendary hunter’s dog. The legendary hunter is called Orien. This constellation/Canis Minor, is best seen in March at 9:00 PM.
Canes Venatici  You can see canes venatici best in may at 9.00pm. The constellatons means a pair of hunting dogs.  The decliation is 90 degrees visible between latidies also 40 degrees . The right ascension is 13 hours   The two stars canes venatici owns are chara and cor caroli. The legend behind my  constellation is that they would lish up the dogs and and take them hunting for bear
Capricornus As of 2002 the sun appears in the constellation				capricornus is one  of the constellation of the zodiac	thiscostellation is some times entified as mal theacapricornus is one of the 88 modern costellation	the sun considered to be in the sing from december 22 to january19
Carina You can see Carina in March at 9:00 PM. The Milky Way runs through Carina It’s abbreviation is ‘’Car’’. Originally  was part of ‘’Argo Navis’’ Carina’s right ascension is 9hrs. It is visible between latitudes: 20 and -90. Latin people named it ‘’ The Keel.
Cepheus Cepheus is the father of  Adrometa. This constellation is seen near the north pole. One of the star’s name is Aldera Min. Cepheus is said to be the king of Aethiopia. Cepheus is best seen on October 22 at 9:00 PM.
Chamaeleon you can best see chamaeleon in April at 9:pm. It was one of the 1st 12 constellations. It looks like a tringale. Chamaeleon is a small constellation in the southern sky. It was named after the chamaeleon a from of lizard.
ColubaCOLUNBA You can see colunba  in spring at 9:00 pm sauthcallsamarer and ceuvscapriormus
Dorado You can best see Dorado in January at 9:00 PM. Dorado is a Hawaiian sword fish. Dorado is a constellation in the southern sky. Dorado’s myth IS THE BIG SWORDFISH. Dorado is part of an irregular galixy
Fornax You can see Fornax major best seen is December  at 9: 00 pm .  Another thing I learn is  that some constellations are not visible.  Figuring out  wish month  a constellation is visible. To see a constellation you have to grave a good spot to see it perfectly. People from other parts of the world could see it perfectly than us. Did you know that some constellation are beiger than others .
Hercules The Romans adopted the myths of Hercules including his twelve labors. Hercules is the Romans name for the mythical Greek. In Roman mythology, AccaLarentia. Hercules was married to Deianeira.
LEPUS Lepus is best seen on aprial 30. It is Latin for wolf,  close to a dark nebula,  it has 9 stars in it,  capsherd by a telescope,  the guy who discoved it was Latin
Libra Libra is bestseen iN June (At 9:00 PM) Declination -15 Degrees Visible between 65 and -90 degrees. Right  Ascension:15 hours. Translation The Beam Balance. Libra’s symbol is .
Puppis Puppis can be seen in 10:00pm . Its miening is  the pupthek that’s a part of the  ship . The was fownd by Galilo . People it has the shaip  of show . The puppisownli  comes out  in  april 14  1ns a yeaer
Sagitta Sagitta lies within the milky way. Sagitta is located by the north equator. Sagitta was regarded. Its family is hercules Sagittas name is latin for arrow. Also sagitta is best seen in September at 9:00 P.M
sagittarius Best seen in August at 9:00 PM. It is part of the zodiac. Visible between 55-90 degrees latitude. The arrow points to the heart of the scorpion. It is half man half horse with wings it is also called The Archer.
You can see Serpens best in July at 9:00 PM. Serpens’ proper name is The Snake. Serpens is also split into two. Serpens is visible between 80 and 80 degrees latitude. Serpens is 637 sq. degrees. Serpens is Latin for snake.  Serpens
Vela vela is best visible between lattitudes 30 and 90 degrees Vela is a planetary nebula.  This constellation  has 32 more nebulas. This is a nebula of a supernova explosion. Vela was originally part of a larger constellation. It was later divided into three parts. Its name is Latin for the sails of a ship.
Virgo Virgo is seen best in May at 9:00. Virgo is the second largest constellation. Virgo’s symbol is . Virgo is Latin for virgin.  It can be found through its brightest star , Spica.  Virgo is one of the constellations of the Zodiac.

The legend of my constellation is ancient Greek mythology, Ara was identified as the altar of Lycaon who sacrificed a child.

This constellation, known as Canis minor is also called, The lesser Dog. It is named after a legendary hunter’s dog. The legendary hunter is called Orien. This constellation/Canis Minor, is best seen in March at 9:00 PM.
