The Ship House in Tenerife, Spain is reportedly haunted. In 1940, a woman named María lived there with her abusive and jealous husband Tomás. After Tomás grew increasingly violent when drunk, María tried to escape but was found by her husband. One night, he shot and killed María after calling her names. Realizing what he had done, Tomás then shot and killed himself. Now, people sometimes hear María's ghost screaming for help with the sound of her husband following with a gun.

1. THE SHIP HOUSE
The name of the old house was Lomo de la Zapatera o The
Ship House. It is abandoned. Some people have seen a woman ghost
crying or screaming along the corridor and a man following her
with a gun.
María lived with her husband, Tomás, in this house In 1940.
The man spent working in his field of La Matanza Village. Tenerife
all day. He went back to his house after a hard work in the night.
At first, they were happy, but her husband became very jealous.
He didn’t want her wife to make up, she had to wear black and
white clothes and long dresses. Then, She felt herself in a deep
sorrow, because she felt alone.

2. One day, when she went to the market of the village to sell
the fruit of her field, she met a handsome young man there . She
didn’t love her husband, but she rejected the young man, because
he was very scared of her husband. One night, her husband was
drunk and punished her. Later, when he was sleeping, She decided
to escape to her mother’s house. his husband looked for her the
next day. Her parents advised her to go back with her husband,
because she was her wife. They didn’t help her. A separated woman
was a shame for her family that time. However, when she went
back her home, her husband became more and more violent. He
went on punishing her when he was drunk.
when her husband was outside working in his fields, she was
on the balcony and saw the young man passing by the house, so
she put on her clothes quickly and went to the market near the
road. When he saw her, he approached to ask her to meet him in a
hidden place. When they were together in that place. He took her
hands and dared to kiss her. She was very afraid of somebody to
see them, so she told him not to meet her again.
One night she felt panic, because her husband behaved like a
crazy man. She was drunk like a fish. He wanted to shoot her with
his gun. He called her “ whore” and other bad words. When she
running to escape shouting for help, he shot her and she fell on
the floor, bleeding. He wanted to wake up her, but it was
worthless, because she was dead. When he realized what he had
done, he began to cry and shot himself. Both corps were lying on
the floor with a lot of blood.
Their ghosts are in the house nowadys. Some people hear the
woman screaming for help and a man following her with a gun.
