2. EXT. GATE DAY
A scene from the balcony. A man rushes through the gate. He
is so pre-occupied that he forgets to close the gate.
EXT. GARAGE DAY - CONTINUOUS
After the man arrives in the garage, he immediately takes off
his shoes and socks. CLOSE on the shoes and the socks being
thrown out of nowhere. A pan on a neatly pile of shoes.
Clearly, he is not like this.
EXT. BALCONY - CONTINUOUS
He slips his hand to one of the rugs. None. Then the other.
None. After some several tries, he finds the key.
INT. HOUSE DAY
MONTAGE SEARCH: On drawers, dividers, books, bed and bed
sheets, wardrobe, Sala set, dining room.
A brief montage of the messiness caused by the search while
the man is talking on a phone, while leaning on furniture.
FRIEND
Pare, san ka na? Nandito na kami sa
may Popcorn Machine.
MAN
Hindi ko mahanap yung ticket.
FRIEND
Baka na misplaced mo lang. Ayusin
mo yung pag hahanap. Hintayin ka
nlng namin.
MAN
Cge. Ulitin ko nalang. Tawag lang
ako maya.
FRIEND
Bilisan mo.
The MONTAGE SEARCH is repeated again. Again, he speaks to his
friend.
MAN
Wala tlaga.
FRIEND
Pano ba yan?
(a beat)
(MORE)

FRIEND (CONT'D)
Malapit nang mag simula. Baka
walang nang upuan.
MAN
(to himself)
Kitchen. Room. Sala. Books. Damit.
San pa ba?
As he says this, a brief shot on the places mentioned.
FRIEND
Ano na?
MAN
(raises his head, ting!)
Alam ko na. Wait lang. Hintayin mo
lang ako 5 minutes jan na ako. Bye.
Inspiration BGM rings in the background. He knows where it
is. He opens a drawer and retrieves a red box. As he opens
it, the music builds. CLOSE on his SMILES, streached wide.
CLOSE on the box motionless. As the lid opens, the box
produces a soft light. CLOSE on his EYES, gleaming. CLOSE on
the BOX motionless.
The box is now opened but no ticket can be found. He is
disappointed, but he still attempts to rummage.
CUT. SILENT. SLOW MO. He is now worrying. He paces backs in
fort.
EXT. BALCONY NIGHT
He slumps on one of the chairs. Disappointed. A scene of the
front of the balcony. Same as the opening.
MAN
Sorry ha di ako nakapunta.
(a beat)
Maganda ba?
(a beat)

A brief scene as he stairs at the sky.
INT. ROOM NIGHT
He gets dress for sleep. He unbuttons his shirt, and hooks it
one of the nails. He pulls out his pants, and hooks it with a
nail. CUT TO. Fixes his bed. He sleeps. A BRIEF CLOSE on his
shoes and socks, now neatly piled. CLOSE on his pants. CLOSE
on his tshirt. EXTREME CLOSE on the breast pocket of the
tshirt. ULTRA CLOSE on the breast pocket, and just a little
bit, the movie ticket is seen inside it.
