Matilde Tagger's Many Projects
Mathilde Tagger was a prolific researcher of Sephardic genealogy who published many books and articles. She built extensive online databases containing records from locations across the Sephardic diaspora such as cemeteries, censuses, and community records. Tagger worked diligently to make these historical records widely accessible until her passing in 2014. She received several awards recognizing her lifetime of volunteer work in furthering Sephardic genealogical research.

He presented findings from an upcoming publication, which considers this persistence and examines how ‘creativity’ has become entrenched within a range of discourses and practices, particularly since the turn of the century.

Kristin Cheung, Development Officer at the Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver calls for Arts Managers to identify staff, volunteers and interns who have different perspectives, who are ambitious, who want to collaborate and build mentorship opportunities in order to build stronger community engagement for intercultural relations. She argues that this approach will flip the current hierarchy and have these staff members teaching Arts Managers on intercultural relations. Curators as gatekeepers – Diversity at Art Festivals
Dr. Lisa Gaupp presented at the conference "Brokering Intercultural Exchange" in London on November 16-17, 2017. The presentation focused on curators as gatekeepers and diversity at art festivals. It discussed how curators can mediate diversity through their selection and presentation of artworks. The presentation also examined challenges around increasing nationalism and Eurocentrism in the arts. It argued that arts management needs to adapt to today's post-migrant realities by centering on interactions and commonalities between different cultures.

Abi gave a brief overview of the Arts and Humanities Research Council Connected Communities project Understanding Everyday Participation – Articulating Cultural Value, a mixed-methods, multisite research project in England and Scotland. This project aims to radically re-evaluate the relationship between participation and cultural value, and is producing new understanding of local governance of culture, its history and challenges through empirical research on the situated practices of everyday life. The cultural participant versus the cultural non-participant: defining desira...
This document analyzes discourses around cultural participation and non-participation in UK cultural policy. It identifies two subject identities constructed in policy - the cultural participant and non-participant. Cultural participants are seen as open-minded and able to choose experiences, while non-participants are portrayed as lacking knowledge and constrained by barriers. However, interviews reveal that cultural professionals also reject many activities and non-participants regularly participate in popular culture. The document argues this binary oversimplifies cultural behavior and marginalizes non-participants' voices. It questions how policy might change if all were seen as cultural participants choosing from diverse options.

For Cultural Policy Observatory Ireland event on 23 October 2017 at Queen's University Belfast, Leila Jancovich introduced her research on the participatory turn in cultural policy. She will explore the gap between policy and practice in the cultural sector. She did this through examination of both policy rhetoric and strategies to increase participation in general and participatory decision making in particular. In so doing she examined the politics of participation and the nature of power within the cultural sector and called for a wider range of voices to be heard in decision making.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION AND INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE IN SCHOOL OF MSSES
The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences launched the first cultural management program in Russia in 1998 based on British educational standards. The program is validated by Manchester University and provides students an MA diploma from Manchester. The program aims to introduce international best practices in cultural project management and a social, cultural project-oriented methodology to Russia. Bringing together foreign theories and Russian practices can cause tensions, but ultimately provides Russian students with valuable international resources and perspectives to better adapt to changing circumstances in cultural management.

She is also the arts director of RISE Refugees, the first organisation established in Australia by refugees for refugees. Artistic Director, Andrea Montgomery will discuss how and why Terra Nova’s work focuses on the intercultural. Terra Nova is Northern Ireland's only professional inter- cultural theatre company. Their mission is "to make excellent theatre where different cultures meet, people explore and the world is changed". To enable this to happen they develop productions in collaboration with like-minded local, national and international theatre companies, artists, venues and communities. They have worked on artistic and social projects across Northern Ireland and in Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, France, England, the Republic of Ireland and Canada. Draw Down the Walls
Draw Down the Walls is a unique project that uses art and language to explore the legacy of interface walls and the impact of segregated living on communities. Using art as a starting point Draw Down the Walls seeks to create debate and discussion within and between communities. Activities include talks and discussions, temporary artworks, workshops, short films and high profile participatory art events that use interface walls as a starting point for creative enquiry. Projects address difficult issues through the arts while challenging perceptions of what art is and what it can do. Any artworks created on or near interface walls are temporary as it is believed that walls should not separate communities in a permanent way. The aim is to create debate and discussion about the walls inside and between different communities bordering the walls. Draw Down the Walls is a partnership between North Belfast Interface Network, Lower Shankill Community Association and the Golden Thread Gallery with other relevant groups engaging with the project more loosely and at different levels. Members of the partnership will reflect on the project. Terra Nova Productions
Artistic Director, Andrea Montgomery will discuss how and why Terra Nova’s work focuses on the intercultural. Terra Nova is Northern Ireland's only professional inter- cultural theatre company. Their mission is "to make excellent theatre where different cultures meet, people explore and the world is changed". To enable this to happen they develop productions in collaboration with like-minded local, national and international theatre companies, artists, venues and communities. They have worked on artistic and social projects across Northern Ireland and in Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, France, England, the Republic of Ireland and Canada. Draw Down the Walls
Draw Down the Walls is a unique project that uses art and language to explore the legacy of interface walls and the impact of segregated living on communities. Using art as a starting point Draw Down the Walls seeks to create debate and discussion within and between communities. Activities include talks and discussions, temporary artworks, workshops, short films and high profile participatory art events that use interface walls as a starting point for creative enquiry. Projects address difficult issues through the arts while challenging perceptions of what art is and what it can do. Any artworks created on or near interface walls are temporary as it is believed that walls should not separate communities in a permanent way. The aim is to create debate and discussion about the walls inside and between different communities bordering the walls. Draw Down the Walls is a partnership between North Belfast Interface Network, Lower Shankill Community Association and the Golden Thread Gallery with other relevant groups engaging with the project more loosely and at different levels. Members of the partnership will reflect on the project. A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
