Taiwan
 In 1895, Taiwan was under Japanese
control due to the treaty of
Shimonoseki .

4.  In 1912, The republic of China ( Taiwan) was found
because of Chinese revolutionaries.

5.  In 1949, the ROC government leader Chiang kai shek was forced
to flee during the Chinese civil war by the communist party in the
mainland china.
