Component 2.   Planning a new sustainable facility for Porthcawl which will attract tourists In small groups each team, using GE and digital photographs of the area, must decide on a SITE to develop within the Porthcawl area- 4 to choose from. Once they have reached a decision (Locational Factors considered) they must start to design a SUSTAINABLE facility for the area. They are allocated a certain amount of money (but this is flexible!) and must consider environmental (EIA Assessment form to be completed), social (housing, needs of locals and transport) and economic factors.

Planning a new sustainable facility for Porthcawl which will attract tourists In small groups each team, using GE and digital photographs of the area, must decide on a SITE to develop within the Porthcawl area- 4 to choose from. Once they have reached a decision (Locational Factors considered) they must start to design a SUSTAINABLE facility for the area. They are allocated a certain amount of money (but this is flexible!) and must consider environmental (EIA Assessment form to be completed), social (housing, needs of locals and transport) and economic factors.
