2. Key Characters
 Joe- this character is leader of the group, excitable.
Cocky, thinks everyone is over reacting. He will try to
explain throughout the film that people are worrying to
much until he starts to get chased himself.
 Alden- this character is one of Joe’s best mates, he is
very confident and energetic. He is the first to figure out
that they are not alone at the party and starts to fear for
his life early on.
 Greg- Greg is more of the dopey one, he doesn't say
much and is normally clumsy. His disappearance is
blamed on his clumsiness.

3. Outline of Story

At the very beginning of the film a scene from the end is shown. After the
opening sequence the beginning starts. The 3 characters are walking to
the train station to go to the party and are looking forward to it. This
carries on until they are at the party. The main part of the beginning of the
film is establishing the party mood and the calmness of everyone.

That’s when people here noises but they ignore them. Alden gets worried
and explores. This is when Greg’s character disappears and is taken by
the antagonist. Alden tries to tell people but Joe insists that he is over
reacting. Towards the end of the middle the antagonist starts to pick off
more victims.

At the end it is Joe and Alden trying to run away and hide from the
antagonist attacking people at the party. They are fighting to stay alive and
the last few scenes include Alden and Joe running away. Joe’s character
is then taken and this leads onto the scene shown at the beginning of the
film. The film ends with a kind of cliffhanger where the audience makes
the decision in their own mind what happened.

4. Information established in
opening
 The very beginning of the opening scene will be the
end of the film, and will be using flashbacks to
establish that there is a person around in the
college. We will also establish that they are taking
people but the audience don’t know who it is as they
don’t get to see them.
 The audience will know that the characters are going
to a party as at the end of the opening scene they
are talking about it as they make their way to the
party.

5. Presentation of information
 We are going to have a mixture of a montage and
continuous scenes. It is going to be a continuous
scene at the beginning with a flashback included.
This will then lead onto a montage sequence which
will be the titles opening sequence. Once finished it
will go into the beginning of the film with a
continuous scene.

6. Film Inspiration
 Some of the films that have inspired us and given us
ideas of how to layout our movie are:
 Cloverfield
 Paranormal Activity
 Panic Room
 And also thriller films with horror aspects.

7. Target Audience
 The specific target audience is for teenagers, as our
film is a thriller, and it’s specifically aimed at them
because it would be too scary or rude for kids and
older adults may not be interested in it. It’s more
relevant to teenagers, as there is a party in the film.
Also it’s aimed at no specific gender, so males and
females can view.
 The main interests is thriller, and the generic viewer
would be these friends as they’re a mixture of male
and female, and are about 16-19 years old.
