2. The Life Cycle Steps of a Butterfly: First step, it is an egg. Second step, it becomes a caterpillar. Third step, it eats a lot of green leaves to get so fat. Fourth, the caterpillar attaches itself to a twig and forms a hard shell, called a chrysalis. Fifth, after sometime the caterpillar changes inside the ‘pupa’ changes into a butterfly. Sixth, the butterfly comes out.
