relaxed mood. Music also tends to absorb one’s attention, therefore distracting a person
from their apprehensions. An article from the Harvard Health Publications states that
music is a pleasant diversion for a patient during chemotherapy, as well as a hospital
stay. It also decreases agitation in older people with dementia.

into a meditative state.

Parkinson’s disease.
