2. FACTS We have a Distillery, it was found round about 1825.Prince Charles drinks our whisky. Sometimes the Queen comes over to Port Ellen. We have a square lighthouse near Port Ellen it is so nice!
3. Places To Go! There isn’t much to do in Port Ellen but there is a Cyber cafe and two places to eat out . There is 5 shops and 1 park. There is 6 beaches just in Port Ellen. We get out till when we want usually because Port Ellen is really peacfull. Recently we got an all weather pitch it is really COOL!
4. A wee story thingy! There was a lady who lived in a cave, her name is Lizz or something. She loved to paint so that’s why she lived in a cave to get a good land-scape / view / scenery. She hardly wore clothes that much, she would run about naked all day. She smelt of fire because she would make a fire to keep her warm. It was hard to get to the cave , the only way you could get to the cave was by boat. She was eventually famous for her paintings and they were rubbish.
5. Bad things about Port Ellen! The Park isn’t very good it has only two sets of swings, no round about no see saw and only 1 slide. Weather but that just isn’t in Port Ellen it’s all of Islay. It is usually rainy windy and cloudy.
