Once upon a time there was a poor woman who lived with her three daughters.

A neighbour, rich and kind, offered them work, saying that they would be rewarded.
.
The eldest daughter went first.
She worked all day and, in return, was offered a basket with food.
As she didn’t appreciate this, she didn’t go back.

4. 4
The exact same thing happened to the middle daughter.
On the third day, it was the youngest daughter time. She also worked all day, but she sang the all-time.

The neighbour was pleased and gave her a basket of food and marigolds. The girl appreciated it and decided
to live at her neighbour’s.
Some years later, the mother wanted her daughter
to come back home.
As a reward, the neighbour gave the girl a few coins
and a golden necklace, saying that she could sell it i
f she needed the money.

When the coins were over, the mother went to town to sell the golden necklace.
Walking from shop to shop to find out the value of the golden necklace, no scale could balance it.
The news spread fast and the king wanted to evaluate
the necklace himself.

Everyone got amazed once the scale only balanced when the king himself was on the other part of the scale!
The king wanted to know the owner of the necklace.
He asked her to put herself on the scale along with him.

The scale got balanced again and they realized they were meant to be together!

They decided to get married that day and they lived happilly ever after.

The neighbour disappeared in a full moon night,...

...leaving lots of marigolds on the ground!
