Climate change is defined as a significant change in climate measures like temperature or precipitation lasting an extended period. Evidence shows the Earth is changing due to global warming. Climate change is affecting all regions - in North America there is less snow and more heat waves, South America is transforming from rainforest to savannah, Europe faces floods and species loss, Africa will have widespread water stress by 2020, and Asia will have decreased freshwater and coastal flooding. The 2003 European heat wave was the hottest since 1540 and led to over 70,000 deaths from heat-related causes and drought. Solutions include using energy efficiently, reducing waste, and increasing wind and solar power to limit greenhouse gases.

The climate is harsh with below freezing winter temperatures and summer averages of 13°C. Polar bears are at risk of extinction due to shrinking Arctic ice.
2. The Interior Plains is located in western central Canada with hills, forests, and river valleys. It formed from sediments deposited in an ancient sea. It has short, cold winters and hot summers ideal for agriculture like wheat and cattle farming.
3. The Appalachian Highlands are located in northeast Canada with old
Pakistan has several physical regions defined by differences in terrain, climate, and agriculture. The major regions are the mountain ranges of the north including the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush mountains, the Potohar and Balochistan plateaus, the fertile Indus plain, desert areas, and coastal areas along the Arabian Sea. People's lives and livelihoods vary between the regions depending on the climate and agricultural opportunities available.
La Convention sur les zones humides - Convention de Ramsarimed Louati
- Tunisia is the smallest country in North Africa, located between Algeria and Libya. It has a highly indented coastline and terrain that varies from coastal plains to mountains to desert plateaus.
- The climate ranges from wet in the northern mountains to arid in the southern desert. Winter rains fall in the north while the south receives little erratic rainfall. Coastal areas are warmer and more moderate than inland regions.
- The country contains several types of wetlands, including coastal lagoons and marshes, the extensive salt flats of the central basin, and oases in the southern desert zone. The largest coastal wetland is Lake Ichkeul, an important habitat for wildlife that is threatened by proposed dams.
This document summarizes a study on the impact of population migration in eastern Serbia on the potential for ecotourism development. There are over 60 protected plant and animal species in the region across 7 protected natural areas and many cultural/historical sites. However, ecotourism development faces limitations from pollution and proximity to mines. The area has experienced demographic emptying of mountain/hill areas as people migrate to cities. This emptying can enable natural ecosystem restoration. The region has diverse landscapes, forests, agricultural land, rivers, lakes and mineral springs. Protected areas include Stara Planina Nature Park and several nature reserves featuring diverse vegetation and forests.

Symmetry is seen in many areas of mathematics and comes in several types. Reflectional symmetry, or line symmetry, occurs when one half of a figure is a mirror image of the other half across a central line. Rotational symmetry exists when a figure can be rotated around a central point and overlap itself, with the smallest angle of rotation determining its order of symmetry. Point symmetry exists when every part of a figure has a matching part the same distance from the central point but in the opposite direction.

Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-and-domino-license-cost-reduction-in-the-world-of-dlau/
The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered

Essentials of Automations: Exploring Attributes & Automation ParametersSafe Software
Building automations in FME Flow can save time, money, and help businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex automations is the use of attributes & automation parameters (both formerly known as “keys”). In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using these components, but what exactly are they?
Attributes & automation parameters enable the automation author to pass data values from one automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Flow Specialists will cover leveraging the three types of these output attributes & parameters in FME Flow: Event, Custom, and Automation. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the Split-Merge Block functionality.
You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to maximize the potential of automations by making use of attributes & automation parameters, with the ultimate goal of setting your enterprise integration workflows up on autopilot.

zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...Alex Pruden
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.
