Community-based education and services will continue evolving over the next 15 years. Community-based education will further correlate with community services and non-traditional distance learning will increase with technological innovations. The older adult population requiring community-based services will double, and diversity will steadily increase, influencing the types of programs offered. Funding will need to increase to support the growing senior population and accommodate greater cultural diversity. Laws will be enacted to protect immigrant and diverse groups as community-based services tailor programs to serve an increasingly varied population.

2. Introduction
 Over the years community-based education and services have evolved, and have
impacted the community in such a positive way. Many laws have been passed,
that brought about programs that will continue to be a great asset to the
community now and in 15 years to come. Below we will discuss, anticipated
changes, funding, and influences of diversity.

 Adult Education will become even more globalized reaching new distances

Possible funding scenarios, if appropriate
 Personal student request for state grants and scholarships for those that qualify
should moderately increase
 Federal funding should moderately increase due to budget cuts
 Special programs will offer funding for qualifying students
 $75,000 to each of five local Adult Basic Education (ABE) sites to enhance efforts
to provide postsecondary education and support services that help adults
become employed in occupational sectors important to local economies.

The influences of diversity and the law on the outcome
 With the growing population of immigrants and cultural blending diversity will
steadily increase
 Government legislation will produce funding based on financially supporting
immigrants and those with disabilities
 Government may also introduce funding for special groups such as gender
equality (“Americas Promise Alliance” 2017)

 Positive relationships with community supporters and volunteers will encourage
and “pushed” community members to the facilities. (Atuyambe, L. 2016)
 The older adult community will double in the years to come requiring more
community-based services
 The older adult communities will have longer work years based on their
technological learning advancements

 Because of the increase in the older adult senior population more funding will be
needed to support programs
 More community-based facilities will be needed to also support technologically
efficient older adults
 More programs will be developed and funded towards immigrants and special
groups

9. Conclusion
Community-based adult services and education will continue to be one of the focal
points of social, economic, and financial improvement for the present day society. As
the legislature continues to make strides to elevate these programs, in the next years
to come, the difference will be evident in the structure of the community.
