Introduction:
 Was introduced by group of American Airlines in North
  America, as marketing tool to foster brand loyalty among
  people who fly frequently.
 Programme mainly targeted to: Business Travelers
 Passengers are given mileage points for travelling every 1000
  kilometers.
 If they travelled more with a particular airline they earned
  more points or more free or discounted travels:
 Such as :**free upgrade in the plane,
           ** free air tickets for him/her with spouse
           ** free fly-cruise package, hotel stay
           ** other benefits etc. in exchange of points.
 FFPs may be operated by a single airline or jointly by airlines
  having an interline agreement.
FFP in India:
• Air India has a FFP called: “ Flying Returns”.
• Where the members can accrue mileage points
  while flying on Air India, Air France, and flights
  of Air India’s code share partners, and redeem
  them for award tickets on Air India or Air
  France.
• Apart from airlines, Air India has tie-ups with
  leading hospitality service providers and
  members can earn additional mileage points to
  redeem their tickets faster.
