Did you know that when God invites us to do something, it will always lead to a crisis of belief? What we think we believe will go into tension with what God asks us to do, and there will be a crisis. When the moment of truth comes, and God invites us to sit in the chair going over the falls, then we will find ourselves in crisis.
Charles Spurgeon said that doubt is a foot poised to go forwards or backwards in faith. We can never go forward without first picking up the foot. So stare into your doubts. But then look into the face of God, realize his power, and grasp the greatness of his love. And ask your questions. Leave room a God whose power and wisdom are far above your own and search the Scriptures to see what his answer might be. Humble doubts lead to deep faith.
There is a temptation to stop at Christmas and not complete the Journey with Jesus. This year we face the harsh reality that Christmas is not the ending but the beginning of a whole new adventure.
The importance of the Three Journeys taken during Christmas that either get you to the conclusion or merely satisfy the ritual with little meaning or transformation.
The uniqueness of Jesus’ birth gives insight into Who He is and another reason to receive Him as One sent from God. Fulfilled prophecy is a strong reason to place our faith in Jesus.

The Christmas message clearly spells out the deity of Christ, but this is not just a theological issue with which to ponder. It is meant to jolt us out of our spiritual stupor (sleepiness) to obeying "Jesus Christ our LORD." If obedience in our daily lives is replaced by right theology, then the boat has sailed without us.

The Parable of the Sower and the Seed (Luke 8) is about radical transformation from dirt to new life that happens from God's Word and the dangers that come for those seeking spiritual growth!
We've got to allow God to strip down all the years of grime and cheap paint piled on top of each other. He needs to get down to the bare original so He can begin to fill the cracks, sand the rough edges, and make our hearts beautiful again. He’s already looked beneath the layers and has determined that we're all worth doing over.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
2 Peter 3: Because some scriptures are hard to understand and some will force them to say things God never intended, Peter warns us to take care.

The Hope of Salvation - Jude 1:24-25 - MessageCole Hartman

2. This is God’s Word for my life in this Place and
at this Time. Today I am a new creation in
Christ, I am God’s very own, and I KNOW He
has a purpose for my life.
3. This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came
about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married
to Joseph, but before they came together, she was
found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the
law, and yet did not want to expose her to public
disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
4. But after he had considered this, an angel of the
Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph
son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as
your wife, because what is conceived in her is from
the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you
are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save
his people from their sins.”
5. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said
through the prophet:
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and
they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God
with us”).
6. When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the
Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as
his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage
until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the
name Jesus.
Matthew 1:18-25
8. Christmas Answers the Question:
Where Is God When It All Goes Wrong?
“I cry out to you, God, but you do not answer; I stand up,
but you merely look at me.” Job 30:20
9. Faith is CREATIVE and CONFIDENT
Here is the greatness of Joseph. He loved her even
though he thought she had been unfaithful to him.
His love covered her shame.
11. Fight Back!
Create SOLITUDE: What troubles me? Why?
Create GRATITUDE: Where is God blessing me? Why?
Create FAITH: Faith is a fire from within. Fuel the flame.
12. But as he [Jesus] came closer to Jerusalem and
saw the city ahead, he began to weep. “How I
wish today that you of all people would
understand the way to peace.”
(Luke 19:41,42 NLT)
