LORD JESUS CHRIST makes several claims in the Bible that only God can make, such as forgiving sins, judging mankind, and granting eternal life. He accepts worship from his disciples and others, showing he believed himself to be divine. While Muslims argue Jesus never directly said "I am God, worship me", he made statements that imply divinity, such as claiming to be the "First and the Last" and existing before the world was created. The document examines passages in the Bible and Quran to demonstrate Jesus' deity and that he is worthy of worship as God.

The document discusses Jesus' analogy of himself as the vine and believers as branches from John 15. It says that as the branches receive nourishment from the vine to bear fruit, believers must remain connected to Christ to be spiritually nourished and productive. It outlines lessons for Christians, including that they must abide in Christ to avoid being cut off, that abiding in Christ leads to bearing good fruits, and that without Christ they can do nothing. The overall message is that believers must stay connected to Christ to be strengthened and to fulfill their purpose of producing spiritual fruits.

Despite initially deserting Paul on a missionary journey, he was later reconciled and went on to establish churches in Africa and help write the Gospel of Mark. Mark endured persecution for his faith and was ultimately martyred in Alexandria, cementing his legacy as a founder of Christianity in Africa.

Saul was persecuting Christians as an "apostle" of the Sanhedrin, but Jesus intervened during his journey to Damascus and converted him. Saul went blind for three days and had a vision of Jesus, after which he became an apostle of Jesus instead. He was baptized and began preaching in Damascus, angering Jews who tried to kill him. Though distrusted at first, Saul stayed in Jerusalem and preached with Barnabas' help before escaping to Tarsus due to threats. The documents outline Saul/Paul's conversion and early missionary activities according to Acts and Galatians.
The document discusses how God uses weak people and their weaknesses. It argues that everyone has weaknesses that God allows in their lives so He can demonstrate His power through them. It encourages admitting weaknesses openly instead of pretending, and finding contentment in weaknesses because when we are weak, God's strength is made perfect. Weaknesses cause dependence on God, prevent arrogance, increase sympathy, and allow God's power to be shown.
The document summarizes key aspects of Scripture, including the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament contains 46 books telling the history of the Jewish people and prophecies about Jesus. The New Testament contains 27 books including the four Gospels which describe Jesus' life, letters from Paul and other early Church figures, Acts of the Apostles about the early Church, and Revelation with symbolic prophecies. The document also defines important theological terms related to Scripture and Christianity.
Vitamin Water was created in 1996 and gained popularity as a healthier alternative to soda. It was marketed through celebrity endorsements and attractive packaging that highlighted its vitamins. However, it was sued in 2009 for misleading consumers because each bottle contains 32.5 grams of sugar, similar to Coke. While the label emphasizes vitamins and minerals, the sugar content outweighs any nutritional benefits. Vitamin Water is essentially a flavored soft drink, not a healthy beverage.

Sermon Slide Deck: "On the Road to Seeing Jesus" (Luke 24:13-35)New City Church
The document summarizes a passage from the Gospel of Luke where Jesus appears unrecognized to two disciples who are walking on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection. Jesus explains to them how the prophets foretold his suffering and resurrection. Only when he breaks bread with them at a meal do their eyes open and they recognize him. They then hurry to share the news with the other disciples in Jerusalem. The document explores how this story illustrates that one needs Jesus to fully understand and find meaning in the Scriptures.
Amy Wilson Carmichael was a Christian missionary who served in India for 55 years from 1883 to 1951, rescuing children from slavery. She opened an orphanage called Dohnavur Fellowship which grew to house over 1,000 children she had saved. Carmichael dedicated her life to defending Indian girls from exploitation, even illegally kidnapping some to save them. She is remembered for her lifelong devotion to serving and rescuing oppressed children in India.
Ellen White experienced a childhood accident at age 9 where a stone hit her in the nose, leaving her unconscious for 3 weeks. This injury impacted her health for the rest of her life. As a teenager, she was influenced by William Miller's preaching on the second coming of Christ and sought a deeper religious experience. After the Great Disappointment in 1844 when Christ did not return as expected, Ellen began receiving visions which she believed were messages from God, launching her prophetic ministry.
Oprah Winfrey grew up very poor in Mississippi, often wearing dresses made of potato sacks. She moved to Milwaukee at age 6 and was molested by family members starting at age 9. After suffering abuse, she ran away from home at age 13 and gave birth to a son who died. She moved in with her father in Nashville at age 14 and became an honors student. She attended Tennessee State University on a debate scholarship and won the Miss Black Tennessee pageant. This led to a job at a local radio station and later hosting a morning talk show in Chicago that became a national success. Oprah has built schools around the world and donated over $1 million to help impoverished children through her charity organization.
The document discusses different types of prayer including prayers of blessing, petition, intercession, thanksgiving, and praise. It also covers the parts of the Catholic Mass including introductory rites, liturgy of the word, liturgy of the Eucharist, communion rite, and concluding rite. Finally, it discusses the seven deadly sins and gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
John the Baptist was a relative and precursor of Jesus who lived in the Judean desert. He baptized people in the Jordan River and preached repentance. John recognized Jesus as the Messiah and baptized him, marking the start of Jesus' public ministry. However, John criticized Herod Antipas for marrying his brother's wife, resulting in Herod beheading John at the request of Salome. John paved the way for Jesus and is considered the forerunner of the Messiah.
A woman had been suffering from bleeding for 12 years and had spent all her money on doctors but her condition only got worse. She believed that if she touched Jesus' cloak, she would be healed. When she did so, Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He asked who touched him, and the woman came forward trembling but was told that her faith had healed her. Jesus was showing love for those invisible in the crowd and speaking to both the woman and the larger crowd.
1) Jesus sent the disciples ahead by boat while he went to pray alone on a mountain. 2) That evening, a storm arose on the sea as the disciples fought high winds and waves. 3) The disciples saw Jesus walking on the water towards their boat and were terrified, thinking he was a ghost.
Jesus tells a rich ruler that to inherit eternal life he must sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor. When the ruler becomes sorrowful because he is wealthy, Jesus says it is difficult for rich people to enter the kingdom of God, like trying to fit a camel through the eye of a needle. Those who hear this ask who can be saved, and Jesus responds that with God all things are possible.

1. John's gospel was written later than the other gospels, around 90 AD, decades after Jesus' death when Jerusalem and the Temple had been destroyed. It provides an eyewitness account from the disciple whom Jesus loved, commonly accepted to be the apostle John.
2. This gospel emphasizes the divine nature of Jesus as the Son of God through his signs and teachings, and highlights the division between those who believe and receive eternal life and those who refuse to believe and remain in judgment and sin.
3. The purpose is that readers may believe in Jesus as the Christ and Son of God and have life through believing in his name. John aims to provide spiritual insight so readers can truly know God the Father
The document discusses who Jesus Christ is according to Christianity. It explains that Jesus is the central figure of Christianity, the Son of God who was both fully divine and fully human. It outlines Jesus' life on earth, including his teachings, miracles, crucifixion, death, and resurrection. It asserts that through his suffering and death, Jesus paid for the sins of humanity and conquered death, and that his legacy continues today with one third of the world's population identifying as Christian.
1) The document discusses whether Jesus is God based on statements he makes in the Bible that only God could make. It presents six points showing Jesus claiming attributes of God, such as forgiving sins, judging humanity, resurrecting the dead, and sharing God's glory.
2) It also discusses Jesus' use of the title "Son of Man" and argues this was a claim to be the divine "Son of God" based on passages in Daniel and his own statements equating himself with the Son of Man.
3) The document aims to equip Christians to defend their faith by showing that Jesus directly and indirectly claimed to be God in the Bible, contrary to the Islamic view of him as a prophet.
True christianity and how it leads to islammuzaffertahir9
Muslims devoutly believe in Jesus, Moses and all other true prophets. Catholics, Protestants, and Muslims all claim to believe in Jesus. Why, then, are there such differences among his believers? The fact is that his teachings have been misinterpreted and misrepresented. Jesus himself did what a sincere Muslim would have done. He submitted to the will of God. He, further, prophesied the corning of Prophet Muhammad.
This short booklet offers Biblical teachings which disavow some beliefs which are wrongly attributed to Jesus Christ. It tells that there is no contradiction between Islam and true Christianity. True Christianity, in fact, leads to Islam.
The whole purpose of this booklet is to promote better understanding, closer relationship, peace, and harmony between Muslims and Christians.

The document discusses the oneness of God (Allah) from both Christian and Islamic perspectives. It provides quotes from the Bible and Quran emphasizing that God is one and has no partners. It also discusses the status of Jesus in Islam, stating that Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet but not divine. The document outlines the five pillars of Islam that form the basis of Islamic faith and worship.
This document discusses the oneness of man with God and the true identity of believers as Sons of God. It makes three key points:
1) Jesus said "I and my Father are one" to show that as he was one with God, believers can be one with God through the indwelling Christ. Our true identity is as spiritual beings united with God.
2) We were all created in Christ and already have within us everything God intended. Figures like Enoch and Elijah demonstrated this true identity through their actions.
3) There is only one true Son of God, which is the Christ or Spirit of God. Individual believers were born as humans but their true identity as Sons was
This document provides an overview of the key principles of Islam. It discusses that Islam means submission to God, and was the original religion given to Adam and all prophets. The name Islam was chosen by God. It argues Islam is the true religion as it teaches worship of God alone, without associating partners with Him or worshipping His creation. It states Islam's core message is uncomplicated and universally attainable by all people.
This document provides an overview of the book "The True Religion of God" by Dr. A.B. Philips. It discusses three key arguments for why Islam is the true religion of God: 1) The religion's name of "Islam" means submission to God and was divinely revealed, unlike other religions. 2) Islam teaches a unique relationship between God, humanity, and creation with a focus on worshipping God alone. 3) The religion of Islam is universally attainable by all people at all times. The document explores each of these arguments in further detail to support the claim that Islam is the true, final religion from God.

Peter answers that Jesus is the Christ of God. While Jesus could be considered a great teacher or leader, the most important question is determining who He is. It is a question that has eternal consequences. Jesus performed miracles that proved His identity, like raising a boy from the dead, but some like John the Baptist still struggled with doubt. True knowledge of Jesus comes from a personal relationship with Him and surrendering one's life fully to Him as Lord.
Christ is the antidote to death. Jesus said "I and my Father are one." We were originally created in Christ and chosen before the foundation of the world. Christ is the headstone/capstone of the new spiritual temple being built. There is one God manifest in different ways, not three separate persons. We are meant to realize our true identity as Christ and rise up in that understanding. Sin and repentance have been presented in legalistic terms but truly mean a change of heart or mind brought through God's convicting love. What was accomplished at Calvary has already freed us from sin and death through God's grace.
Is The Trinity Doctrine Divinely Inspiredzakir2012
This document provides background information and context for a book titled "Is the TRINITY DOCTRINE Divinely Inspired?". It includes notes from the author, a dedication, acknowledgements, and a table of contents outlining the chapters of the book. The introduction gives an overview of the author's motivation for writing the book, which was to research the origins of the Trinity doctrine after previously believing in it as a Christian. It notes that the doctrine will be examined objectively using various sources. Special media reports from the UK are presented that show many Anglican bishops rejecting core Christian doctrines like the divinity of Jesus. The section on Christians provides historical context on the early followers of Jesus and how Christianity developed and multiplied into different
This document discusses Christian faith and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It notes that while many claim to be Christian, few actually read the Gospels and follow Jesus' teachings. Specifically, it cites statistics showing that only 6% of Christians have read the Four Gospels once, while 94% have not. It encourages readers to read the Gospels to understand Jesus' message of God's Kingdom and the path to get there, and to have true faith like Jesus demonstrated through miracles such as moving mountains.
The document discusses the "Just One Message" conveyed by prophets throughout history - that there is only one God worthy of worship. It presents verses from the Bible and Quran affirming God's oneness. The Old Testament declares God is one Lord, as does Jesus in the New Testament. The Quran strongly rejects associating any partners with God. While Christians claim God is three in one, the document argues this contradicts biblical verses saying no one has seen God. It concludes the oneness of God was the essential message of prophets, and believing in other deities provoked God's anger.
This document provides background information and the author's perspective on understanding the nature of God. It begins by describing the author's confusion as a missionary in explaining the concept of the Trinity to local religious leaders. This prompted a 20-year search for understanding. The author believes God is one Being manifest in three personal forms: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. While distinct, they are united in purpose and derive from one eternal Spirit. The author seeks to resolve perceived contradictions in scripture and reconcile the oneness of God with references to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The goal is to better understand and teach the nature of God and bring people to a knowledge of the true God and Jesus
Metamorphosis is a discipleship book for new Christians. It covers thirteen crucial topics that every new believer in Jesus Christ should know and experience. These include being born again, baptism, prayer, the Bible, the church, service, confessing sins to God, inner spiritual life, and Christ’s transforming power. The short chapters, many verses, and discussion questions are all designed to be read by a new believer along with a mentor or in small group settings.
The Metamorphosis project was a huge collaborative work. The initial content for each chapter was developed by a group of over 20 interns and over the course of 5 years, the content was edited by a number of copy editors and theology scholars. Each of its 105 pages has a unique textural design and vivid artwork is scattered throughout book, featuring 5 different artists. It is all unified into one style, literary voice, and artistic vision.
This document discusses the concepts of eternity and time. It defines eternity as God's realm of being, not an endless extension of time. God created time and the present world order, but exists outside of time in eternity. For all humans, time exerts an inexorable dominion, but God alone has power over time. The Bible reveals God will one day bring time to an end for the present world order. However, for each individual, a moment comes when time ceases and eternity begins.
This document provides guidance for Christians on how to effectively share the gospel with Muslims. It emphasizes unfolding God's word sequentially to show his panoramic rescue plan fulfilled in Jesus. Key points include: discussing eternity planted in the human heart and God's power to save as common ground; using Old Testament stories and quotes like Ecclesiastes 3:11-12 that resonate with Muslims; and following Jesus' gracious example in John 4 of conversing in a seasoned, question-answering way that led villagers to acknowledge him as Savior. The goal is engaging Muslims through meaningful conversation that traces the Bible's rescue themes.
Jesus provides many statements throughout the gospels that directly or indirectly claim that he is God. He refers to himself as "I am" which is the name God gave to Moses. He accepts worship, forgives sins, and makes statements like "before Abraham was, I am" that imply his eternal existence and deity. While avoiding a direct public claim to be the Messiah to prevent a political uprising, Jesus' statements to his disciples and in private frequently point to his divine identity as the Son of God.
Christians and Muslims both believe in Jesus, love him,
and honor him. They are, however, divided over the
question of his divinity. Fortunately, this difference can be
resolved if we refer the question to both the Bible and the
Qur'an, because, both the Bible and the Qur'an teach that
Jesus is not God.

This is a careful study done, not to deceive anyone, but to bring out the facts and educate the common man about it. Whatever be your political inclination, these facts can be either taken or rejected, as pleasing ones beliefs. They do not stand to alter, the facts which I have learnt through this study. Surely, some political class in the country, has chosen to take full use of the uninterested and biased, the appeased and the leftists, to create a false rhetoric, that CAA stands to expel a perticular community from India and is anti-community for them.
Every patriotic Indian, should know about the inhumane cruelty meted out towards our citizens, by the dirty, cruel British deceivers. They tortured and killed thousands of our brave men, inside Cellular Jail, which today, stands as epitaph of one of the worst indignities the cruel British, inflicted upon India and its gallant freedom fighters. This is my humble attempt to bring this monument, to the attention of this world.
This presentation throws light on the facts of a fake Indian Independence, we the Patriotic Indians are forced to live in, by the cunningness of the British, hand in hand with some of the so called leaders of India.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

2. PRAISE BE TO LORD JESUS CHRIST
Dear brothers and sisters in Lord Jesus.
I decided to make this presentation, after I was confronted by the question on the
subject matter, by a Muslim man who was very close to me and my family. Although at first,
I was shocked to hear it and felt it as a challenge to my faith and belief, I managed to evade
the question by saying that; “I know who my heavenly father is, and I do not intent to give a
DNA analysis for that, nor do I want to impress upon any unwilling and prejudiced minded
person, that JESUS CHRIST is my GOD and father”.
Frankly speaking, ever since then on, my heart was discomforted and I started
discussing about the subject matter with many others in my community whom I knew.
Many of them weren’t keen at giving me an explanation, while the answers of some others
weren’t satisfactory for me. My search for the answer started on my own, and after a lot of
research works, crossed checked with copies of The Holy Quran which I bought on my own,
and THE HOLY BIBLE, both of which I possess, I was able to find satisfactory answers to
many questions related to the topic.
I felt it as my duty, to share my new found knowledge with the rest of the world, in a
way I could make it most simple and explicit, so that my Christian brothers and sisters, who
are likely to face the same question from their Muslim comrades, can give answers which
cannot be denied by Muslims, although almost all of them are clearly instructed to profess,
that Jesus was just a prophet of God, and not the Son of God and so, He is not worthy of
worship. This is because, the cardinal facts of Christianity, if accepted by a Muslim, will
make his beliefs, totally false and meaningless. With all sincerity of purpose, my journey to
the truth of my God, starts from the next slide onwards.
I appeal to all Christians going through this presentation, to note down the points
mentioned, so that you are able to defend YOUR FAITH & BELIEF IN THE TRUE GOD.
3. Muslims all over the world are clearly instructed to ask one question to every
Christian he meets at an opportune moment.
“WHERE DID JESUS SAY, I AM GOD, WORSHIP ME” in exactly the same words.
Whatever be your answer, every Muslim who would talk to you would
demand the same words in the same order from THE HOLY BIBLE, and no
matter what quotes from THE HOLY BIBLE you may say, they would keep
pressing you on the ‘same words criterion’. It is here, that you need to apply
the ‘same words criterion’ to your answer too.
Demand back from them by saying; ‘I shall tell you the answer, if you can show me
one sentence in the Holy Bible, where Jesus says “I AM ONLY A PROPHET OF
GOD, DON’T WORSHIP ME”, in exactly the same words, because that’s what
the Muslims believe about Jesus.
Muslim apologetics is not meant to get people to the truth, but is mainly meant
to confuse Christians. Once the ‘same words criterion’ is successfully
defended, it is easier to explain where and how from THE HOLY BIBLE, JESUS
CHRIST claims himself to be God. But, its here that Muslims reinterpret
differently the Biblical quotes you may say, that may conflict with their beliefs.
There are many passages common to both The Holy Quran and THE HOLY
BIBLE which shows that, certain claims can only be made by God Himself and
by no other man, be he a prophet or a saint. These claims cannot be denied
either by any Muslim or a Christian or a Jew.
Let us start the explanation of the topic, from this point.
4. The photograph of the above passage taken from The Holy Quran; SURAH 57:VERSE 3,
refers to Allah as the ‘FIRST AND THE LAST’ which is considered as one of the 99 names of
Allah. Now let us look at The Old Testament in which Prophet Isaiah says in Chapter 44:6
"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts”: 'I am the first
and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.’ This, certainly is not a title any Prophet
of God would ever take it upon himself.
Now, let us see where LORD JESUS CHRIST said the same. In the Book of Revelations
Chapter 1:17-18, Apostle John says “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then
he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I
am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the
keys of death and Hades.” Here, Lord Jesus assumes a title which can only be
applied to God.
IS NOT JESUS ‘GOD’ WHO IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP?
POINT 1.
5. POINT 2.
The above photograph of the passage from The Holy Quran, Surah 3; verse135, agrees that the
ultimate forgiveness of sins is from God alone. When that is the case, let’s see what happened at the
time of Jesus.
Mark2:4-11 says-: Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an
opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying
on. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
6 Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7 “Why does this fellow talk
like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 Immediately Jesus knew in his
spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you
thinking these things? 9 Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,
‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? 10 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has
authority on earth to forgive sins.”So he said to the man, 11 “I tell you, get up, take your
mat and go home.”
JESUS IS SEEN FORGIVING THE SINS OF A PERSON AND HEALING HIM, WHICH The Holy Quran says,
only Allah has the authority to do so.
IF SO, IS NOT JUSUS CHRIST GOD, WHO IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP?
6. The Holy Quran, Surah 22:Verses 56 -57 -: The photograph of the above passage from The
Holy Quran clearly says that only God has the authority to Judge the righteous and the
wicked and punish those who disbelieve in Him.
In the book of Joel 3:2 God says “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley
of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my
people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my
land.” David, in the Book of Psalms 9:7-8 says: “The Lord reigns forever; He has established
His Throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness; He will govern the
people with justice.” JESUS CHRIST as quoted in Mathew 25:31-32 says; 31 “When the Son
of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious
throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one
from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” Here, JESUS CHRIST
proclaims that he will admit some people into heaven, while many others will be cast into
the hell.
Is this not something, which God alone would do and not a Prophet.
THEN, IS NOT JESUS CHRIST GOD AND WORTHY OF WORSHIP?
POINT 3.
7. In the previous 2 slides, there is a point of contention and that is the phrase used
by Jesus Christ “SON OF MAN”. The claim ‘Son of God’ according to Jews at that
time, was not anything divine. Adam was called the son of God, Solomon was
called the song of God and so on. In fact, Psalms 82:6 says that all of humanity is
‘Sons of God’ or to say “Children of God”. But in sharp contrast, if you read
Psalms7, you can understand that the ‘Son of Man’ is a very exalted figure: not
just a human figure, but one who was worshiped. Hence, this was Jesus' favorite
self-designation and Psalm is a book of the Old Testament; which is written,
before the Birth of Christ.
Quoting this context, LORD JESUS CHRIST, used this term many times during His
public life, as in Mathew 26:64, while answering Caiaphas the high priest after his
capture for his question; “Tell us if you are the Son of God”, JESUS replied “I
am, and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One
and coming on the clouds of heaven” The same is also clearly told by LORD JESUS
CHRIST in Mark 10:45 when James and John wanted to be granted the seats on
the left and right of LORD JESUS, to be seated in all His Glory, He said unto them
all 45 ”For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to
give his life as a ransom for many.”
From all this, it is now clear that the term ‘Son of Man’ which LORD JESUS CHRIST
used for Himself is indeed a mention of himself as being ‘THE SON OF THE MOST
HIGH’ or to say, THE SON OF GOD.
8. The Holy Quran Surah 22: Verse 6 The above photograph of the said passage says
that ‘God’ is reality or ‘Allah’ is Truth. This again is one of ‘Allah’s 99 names in The
Holy Quran.
Psalm 31:Verse 5 Prophet David refers to God as ‘Truth’ or to say the ‘God of
Truth’. “5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeem me, O LORD God of
truth.” This is exactly what LORD JESUS CHRIST said to His disciple Thomas as
answer to his question in John 14:6-7 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really
know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and
have seen him.”
Would any Prophet or an ordinary man, make a statement like this?
IS NOT JESUS THE GOD OF THIS WORLD AND SO WORTHY OF WORSHIP?
POINT 4
9. The Holy Quran Surah 22: Verse 7 The photograph of the said verse above says very clearly, that
God or ‘Allah’ is the one who will raise the dead. So also in 1Samuel 2: Verse 6 of THE HOLY
BIBLE says 6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.”
Both The Holy Quran and THE HOLY BIBLE are unanimous in declaring this fact. This shows that
we can never expect a mere Prophet to tell his disciples that he will resurrect the dead. Now, let
us look what LORD JESUS CHRIST says in John5: 25-29. 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming
and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will
live.26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in
himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. 28 “Do not be
amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and
come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is
evil will rise to be condemned. Also so, in John 11: 25 LORD JESUS CHRIST calls Himself “I am
the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, will live even if he dies.”
IF JESUS IS ONLY A PROPHET, WOULD THIS NOT BE BLASPHEMY ?
HENCE, LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD, AND IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP.
POINT 5
10. The Holy Quran:Surah 57:1. The photograph of the above verses clearly says; to
God ‘Allah’ alone is all Glory and that all things in Heave and on earth, declares His
Glory. This goes to mean that no man; be he a Prophet of God, can claim Glory
equal to God. Now in The Old Testament of THE HOLY BIBLE in Isaiah 42: verse 8
says, “8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,
neither my praise to graven images”. No Prophet of God would ever declare that
he shares all the Glory of God. In sharp contrast to this, let us see what LORD
JESUS CHRIST said while praying to His Heavenly Father as told in John 17: Verse 5
“And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the Glory I had with You before
the world existed”. Is this something that Prophets say?
Hence, LORD JESUS CHRIST is GOD, is indeed worthy of worship.
POINT 6
11. OTHER INSTANCES WHERE JESUS CLAIMS TO BE LORD & GOD
Mark2:28:LORD JESUS CHRIST says that he is the “Lord even of the Sabbath”.
Mathew 22:41-46 LORD JESUS CHRIST asks what they thought about ‘Christ’, to which they
replied that he is the Son of David. He goes to correct them by quoting Psalm110:1
where David says that it was the Lord, who spoke to his Lord and if the Son of Man is his
Lord, how can Christ be the Son of David. Here again, he reiterates that HE IS LORD OF
PROPHET DAVID.
John 8:39-58 LORD JESUS CHRIST claims he has seen Abraham.
Mathew 12:6 LORD JESUS CHRIST claims that He is greater than the temple of God.
Mathew 18:20 LORD JESUS CHRIST says that wherever 2 or 3 gather in His name, He would
be there. The Omnipresence of God.
Mathew 28:20 LORD JESUS CHRIST says that His existence is perpetual (one without death).
John 16:15 LORD JESUS CHRIST makes the very startling declaration that all things that
belongs to His Father are His, as well.
LORD JESUS CHRIST, tells us to Honour Him, just we Honour his father. This, He says in
John5:21-23. “21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the
Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. 22 Moreover, the Father judges no one,
but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they
honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who
sent him.”
Since, one of the ways we Honour the Father is by worshiping Him, and since Jesus said that
we have to Honour the Son, in the same way we Honour the Father, LORD JESUS was
indeed demanding worship.
12. Mathew 2:11 says that infant Jesus was worshiped by the three wise men.
Mathew 14:28-33 tells about an incident at sea, when the disciples of LORD
JESUS CHRIST, worshiped Him and proclaimed that He indeed is the Son of
God.
John 9:35-38 we can see the once blind man who was cured by LORD JESUS
CHRIST, professing his belief in Jesus and falling down and worshiping Him.
Mathew 28:17 says of LORD JESUS CHRIST, being worshiped by His disciples in
the mountain at Gallilee, where LORD JESUS CHRIST had told them to go.
Luke 24:52 says that LORD JESUS CHRIST was worshiped by His disciples, as
they were just lead out of Bethany before His ascension into Heaven.
John 20:27-29 says of His disciple Thomas addressing LORD JESUS CHRIST as
“My Lord and my God”.
OTHER INSTANCES WHERE LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS WORSHIPED
13. THE FINAL INFERENCE
From all the previous slides, we can proudly come to the inference that LORD
JESUS CHRIST is indeed the ‘First and the Last’; the Forgiver of sins, the Final
Judge, The Truth and the Resurrection.
LORD JESUS CHRIST, claimed that He had the Glory with the Father, even before
the world was created, that He is “Lord of the Sabbath”, and that of King David,
that He has seen Abraham and that He is greater than the Lords Temple.
LORD JESUS CHRIST has a very unique relationship with the Father, that He can
answer prayers, that He is present wherever 2 or more have gathered in His
name, that He has total authority on earth and in Heaven, that he is with His
followers forever, and that He owns everything. He has demanded, that He be
Honoured, just as His Father is Honoured, which includes worship.
These are not the claims of an ordinary human being or of a great Prophet. These
are the claims of the TRUE AND THE LIVING GOD.
AND THIS IS WHY, CHRISTIANS BELIEVE THAT LORD JESUS CHRIST IS INDEED GOD
AND THAT HE IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP.
