The Constitution By Chelsea Barger
The constitution was written on May 28th1787. It was signed September 17th 1787.
A group of men called the framers created the the constitution. Twelve of the thirteen states sent delegates who are the framers.
The constitution was written to give the people a government that would meet the needs of the new nation.
The events that led up to it’s creation were, the Revolutionary war. And other things like, the 13 colonies wanted to be free from the king George 3rd.
The constitution was remodeled after several major historical documents. ,[object Object]
The New Jersey Planretained the unicameral congress of the confederation. Each of the states were equally represented. The New Jersey Plan called for a federal executive of more than one person. ,[object Object]
The Articles of Confederation~ Specified how the government was to operate. Some of it was used word for word to create the constitution. ,[object Object]
I would improve the U.S. constitution by getting rid of taxes. And make it so where everything is free in the world. But everybody has to work.
I feel the Constitution it isn’t as relevant today as it was when the constitution was first created because, I feel like the people of the U.S. don’t respect the constitution as much as they did when it was first created. The framers wrote it for a reason, to give us freedom. But since we have had it, I feel that we take it for granted.
The Constitutions limitations are, provision of a constitution that restricts the powers of the government and the branch officer.
The constitution was written in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in independence hall.
