A farmer had spent all his money traveling to see the King and was left hungry with a toothache. He debated whether to pull out his painful tooth to pay for food or let it hurt and go hungry. Two guards saw him looking longingly at cakes and dared him to eat 500 cakes, betting that if he failed they could pull out his tooth. The man accepted and began eating, admitting defeat when full. The guards called a barber to extract his tooth as agreed, though the man was glad his hunger was gone and painful tooth removed.

1. THE CAKES AND THE TOOTH
A farmer wanted to see the King. He asked his salary to his master and he said
goodbye.
During the way all the money finished . When he saw the King he thought:
“ To see a man I spent all my money I only have half a coin” .
Because of the anger one tooth started to hurt . He too was hungry and he
thought :
“If I pull out my tooth and I 'll pay with my coin I will die of hunger. If I buy
something to eat the tooth will hurt me”.He went to the shop window of a cake
shop. He looked at the cakes...
Two footman passed and they saw at the man lookingthe cakes. They asked:
-Villainous,how many cakes can you eat at once?
He responded:
-I am so hungry...I can eat five-hundred cakes!
They said:
-Five-hundred!It´s
impossible!
He said:
-You can bet to I
can eat five-
hundred cakes.
They asked:
-What you bet?
-If I can´t eat the cakes you pull out me this tooth , said pointing the tooth that
hurt.
The villainous started to eat cakes...
-I lost,said the man.
The other people,called to a barber and he took him the tooth. out They laughed
at him.
But, the man said:
-Ja.ja,you killed my hunger and you pull out my tooth that hurt.
When the people listened this, they started to laugh and the footman went fast
to another place.
