4. The Bride and The
Bridegroom
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the
first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the
Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from
God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

• You have entered into a contract – a covenant with God
• It’s not just you it’s the whole body of Christ
• Now you develop greater levels of intimacy because of the commitment you have signed
into
• We have to prepare ourselves individually as well as with others.
• Preparation means fulfilling and being obedient to the things that God has asked us to do.
