the devil.
3. How can we identify them?
• Galatians 5:22 ‘But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy peace, forbearance, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control

• Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly
they are ferocious wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits, do people pick
grapes from Thornbushes?

collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned.

6. What is the process-Fortify your Mind!

throw it away…if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off and
throw it away.

7. How is this compatible with the instruction
God has given us?
• John 13:24-35
• A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you
are my disciples, if you love one another
• Matthew 22:39-40
• Love Your Neighbour as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on
these two commandments.
• Luke 8:10- The knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom of God has
been given to you, but to others I speak in parables so they might
understand
• Galatians 6:1
• If someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the spirit should
restore that person gently. But watch yourselves that you are not
also tempted.
8. Be humble like Paul!
• 1 Corinthians 9:19-21
• Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a
slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I
became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I
became like one under the law (though I myself am not under
the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having
the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not
free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win
those not having the law.
