2. Recognise the use of binary
numbers in computer system.
0 The basic building block of computer system is
BINARY.
0 Binary consists of only 0s and 1s.
0 Computer system have million of ‘switches’ which can
be off and on. It logically bends it self to binary.
0 0=off
0 1=on

3. The Binary Number System
0 Our number system: Decimal(base 10).
Example- Decimal Number-36.
written as-(36)10
0 Computer number system: Binary(Base 2)
Example- (00100100)2
