1. ‘The Best Friends’

2. It’s a kitten Jully.
She is quiet, fluffy and
very playful. The kitten
has got a grey body
and tail. 1

3. One sunny day, Jully sees a
beautiful butterfly. It sits on a
flower and flutters with its
wings. Jully can’t stop
watching the butterfly.

4. Jully quietly creeps up to the
butterfly to see her better.
The butterfly is frightened. It
flies up and flies away.

5. Jully runs after the butterfly,
and she is in the forest.
When the butterfly flies to
the forest she feels safe. She
sits on a stone.

6. Jully runs up and says to the
butterfly: ‘I am sorry! I don’t want
to frighten you. I look at your
beauty and want to make friends
with you. What’s your name?’
‘My name is Violette’ says the
butterfly.

7. ‘My name is Jully’ says the
kitten. ‘Let’s be friends!’
‘Come on! Come with me! I will
show you the way out of the
forest’ says the butterfly.

8. After this friendly
conversation
the new friends come out
from the forest.

9. Now our kitten has
a friend – Violette.
They are the best
friends!
