The Army Learning Concept for 2015 (ALC 2015) was developed by the Army's Training and Doctrine Command to create a new learner-centric model that is more engaging, relevant, rigorous, and accessible for today's soldiers. ALC 2015 emphasizes a Continuous Adaptive Learning Model focused on increasing the effectiveness of face-to-face learning and expanding the schoolhouse's reach through enabling technology. Major milestones include adapting learning models by FY12, achieving an interim operating capability by FY13, and achieving full operational capability by FY15. The ALC 2015 aims to cultivate 21st century soldier competencies across all phases of a soldier's career.
