Through a Service Level Agreement two full time
equivalent Inspire Coaches are employed by The
Albion Foundation and based at Moat Farm Junior
School Trust.
They use the kudos of ‘West Bromwich Albion
Football Club’ to inspire young people to achieve.

6. Extended Curriculum
Breakfast Club – 20 pupils on average participate in daily pre school
physical activity.
Below is a breakdown of the extra curricular activities that we have ran
during the academic year 2014/15.
•Breakfast Club – 20 pupils on average participate in daily pre school
physical activity.
•Monday after school – Two 10 week and one 7 week block of upper
school football. One 7 week block of a girls only youth club.
•Tuesday after school – Two 10 week blocks of Multi sports and one 7
week block of dodge ball for lower school.
•Thursday after school – One 10 week block of tag rugby, One 10 week
block and one 7 week block of football for lower school.
•Holiday provision – Various activities running during each school
holiday.

7. Statistics – Upper School
Football
• The first two clubs had 30 participants ( 29 male and 1 female)
and the third club had 33 participants ( 32 male and 1 female )
• In total the three clubs had a cumulative total attendance of 93,
44 different pupils.

8. • Lower School football had a cumilitative total of 69
pupils attending over two clubs. 42 different pupils
have attended. ( 40 boys, 2 girls.)

9. After School clubs – Multi
Sports/ Tag Rugby
• Multi Sports has always been a popular club at Moat Farm with a great up
take.
• A parent of a child in year 3 informed Inspire staff that,

• “ Jai enjoyed multi sports and really looks forward to the sessions. Will they
be running again in the future? “
• Most children didn’t know what tag rugby was, but after Publicising this in
assembly there were pupils willing to participate. 12 boys showed up to this
session.
• For the first two sessions Gemma went through the rules and set up some
fun games to help the children understand Tag Rugby.
• Then for 8 weeks the children enjoyed a rugby tournament with three teams
battling for 1st
place.

10. Statistics – Lower School
Mulit Sports
• The first Multi Sports club had 25 participants ( 23 male, 2 female.)
• The second club had 17 pupils, (13 male, 4 female).
• Although a slight drop in numbers, ( this could be due to football club
running in conjunction ) the second multi sports club attracted 13 new
participants, 76% of the total attendance.
• In total both clubs engaged with 38 different pupils from lower school.

11. Dodgeball – lower school
Girls youth club – upper school
• Due to the popularity of dodge ball in breakfast
club and P.E, Inspire ran an after school club
during the last half term. This attracted 25 pupils,
17 boys and 8 girls.
• In the early part of the year our provision
participation was dominated by boys. As a result
we set up a girls only youth club which was
attended by 16 female pupils.

12. Overall Statistics
• In total our extended curriculum provision ( Excluding
breakfast club), has engaged with 116 different pupils from
both upper and lower school.
• This works out as 24% of the total school. ( Based on 30
pupils per class.)

• School football league fixtures ( 11 boys)
• Athletics event ( 9 boys, 9 girls )
• Support at Edgmond Hall residential ( 48 pupils.)

• 10 pupils on both days got to experience a WBA premier league
fixture.

Finally, included is some feedback from a selection of the pupils we
worked with during the year.
5M was one class that Inspire spent the whole year supporting. A
questionnaire was handed to all 30 pupils and the following is what they

• When we went to The Black Country Museum, The Albion
Foundation were keeping us safe walking around.
• Mr Forman helped me in class and curriculum enrichment. In
P.E I have more confidence now.
• I have joined the school football team and after school clubs.
The Albion people have helped me get better at it.
• I got to meet Graham Dorrans and take penalties against him.
• It’s been fun with Mr Forman, I wish he was coming into year 6
with us.
• In the morning at breakfast club we go to the gym and play a
good game, making me happy and ready for class.
• I have learnt things easier with the guidance of the Albion staff.
Finally I have enjoyed going to the 2 day camps.
