Think Before You Speak: Take a 5-Second PauseHilary Potts
Have a profound impact by thinking before you speak with a 5-second pause. The next time you feel the need to jump in and say something, take a pause, consider the situation, and frame your comments with an intent to have a positive impact.
This is my first Share in SlideShare and i hope to be helpful.

The Momentum Method
The Secret to Building Passion and Desire with Your Guy
Lots of things matter in life. Your career. Your health. Your finances. But
nothing matters quite as much as your relationships.
I mean, think about it. What's the fun of "succeeding" if there's no one
there to celebrate it with you?
Even something as simple as a beautiful sunset loses much of its
significance if there's no one by your side to enjoy it with you.
The “Course Topics” series from Manage Train Learn and Slide Topics is a collection of over 4000 slides that will help you master a wide range of management and personal development skills. The 202 PowerPoints in this series offer you a complete and in-depth study of each topic. This presentation is on "The Art of Conversation".
Results-driven professionals can find themselves stuck with declining commission rates and fees, because there is always someone who is prepared to undercut on price. Find out how you can increase your fee!
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
https://bit.ly/BabeSideDoll4u Babeside is a company that specializes in creating handcrafted reborn dolls. These dolls are designed to be incredibly lifelike, with realistic skin tones and hair, and they have become increasingly popular among collectors and those who use them for therapeutic purposes. At Babeside, we believe that our reborn dolls can provide comfort and healing to anyone who needs it.
The Healing Power of Babeside's Handcrafted Creations
Our reborn dolls are more than just beautiful pieces of art - they can also help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Studies have shown that holding or cuddling a soft object like a stuffed animal or a reborn doll can release oxytocin, which is often referred to as the "love hormone." This hormone helps us feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
In addition to their physical benefits, reborn dolls can also offer emotional support. For many people, having something to care for and nurture can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Reborn dolls can also serve as a reminder of happy memories or loved ones who have passed away.
2. Recently I spoke to a group of real estate leaders about
high performance leadership. After I spoke, we had a
brief Q & A. Completely out-of-the-blue, one of the
leaders in the room asked “How do you stop the 2AM
meetings with yourself?”
3. You know that spending half the night mulling
over possible to solutions to work/family/life
issues is definitely not the best use of your sleep
time. You wake up tired; you don’t handle things
as well and your worry and grumpiness just
compound. You are caught in a negative stress
spiral, being sucked down and it’s hard to break.
4. So what if you could shorten those 2AM
meetings? What if you could sidestep that agenda
of “what if?” Maybe just briefly turn up and then
disappear back to the land of nod.
5. To avoid going the distance at the 2AM meeting you
need to stop taking your minds’ agenda seriously. You
mind is going to throw out endlessly problems and
possible solutions, and the more you listen, the more it
will talk.
6. The trick is to tell your mind “Shut up! I don’t want to
hear from your now” and then refocus on the warm, soft
sheets, your comfortable pillow, your slinky PJs or the joy
of spooning.
7. It’s not going to stop your mind from wanting to
interrupt again, and it’s OK to let your mind keep
chatting, but you just need to make sure you don’t start
chatting about it’s agenda. Focus on the present, not a
possible future and the 2AM meeting will be over in no
time!
