The author was sexually abused from age 4 to 12 by family members and bullied in school. She felt numb, dirty, and lost hope. Years of pain and failed remedies led her to attempt suicide. Her teacher told her about Jesus, and when she prayed to him, Jesus appeared and touched her. All the pain vanished instantly. Jesus gave her strength, forgiveness, and love. He taught her how to love herself and others. By accepting Jesus as her savior, the author found redemption and reason to live.

2. My childhood was not one like many
people. All laughs & innocence was
snatched away from me. I was sexually
abused from the age of four.

3. Before life started, it became my worst
nightmare. All my laughter turned into sorrow,
all my joy into tears and all my peace into
despair. Life went downhill after this point. I
was being raped by some other cousins now.

4. They all called it “Playing the
Game”. They took turns using my
body in all different kinds of acts.
This continued for years; it was four
of them in total.

5. I was constantly being bullied at school. I
was alone, I was rejected. The constant
jeers echoed in my mind always. At times,
the classroom was the safest place to be.

6. It was at the age of twelve I only then
understood what was happening to me. I was
going to tell my parents but was threatened by
my abusers, one even choked me. I was
silenced..

7. My Inner demons tortured me day and night . I
could not believe that life was so unjust. What
did I ever do to deserve such a horrible life?

8. I then on became a living
corpse ,an entity in a body,
numb, a living dead.

I became a living corpse from then on. I was
cold. I was just an entity in a body. I was numb
to the world. I became a living dead.

9. Nights after nights, I cried myself to
sleep, the after effects of the abuse were
far more greater than the actual act. I
felt dirty. I felt nasty and stink always. I
was constantly bathing, trying to get off
their touch from my body. I felt like
someone poured acid on me , eating me
away daily, bit by bit, piece by piece.

10. I was full of hurt,
pain, anger and
rage. Little by little,
I was becoming less
human.

11. I tried different remedies of this world,
both Religious and Secular..
Nothing worked!!!!!!!!!!

12. Years past and the pains grew stronger. Nothing
quelled the raging inferno of emotions . It was
burning away my inside.

13. Death was the last resort. The only
avenue to ease the pain. I had lost
hope

14. I decided to kill myself. I put a tape around my
neck, I was going to strangle myself. I had lost
the will to live, was too tired fighting .. Too
weak from daily battling….
My teacher told me about Jesus. I had nothing
to lose. I was already defeated so I decided to
Pray to him . I closed my eyes and called upon
the name of Jesus….. And He revealed Himself
to me!

15. I saw Him.. He was holding a Door ledge and
grasping it tightly, looking towards the
Heavens and praying.
I said “Jesus, I need you in my life, I cannot
carry these burdens anymore. They are too
heavy. Come into my life and take them”

16. And then Jesus knelt in front of me and said “If
you had called me earlier, I would have come.”
I looked up into His eyes whilst He was
watching me and saw compassion, love, peace,
joy, reassurance and all the care in the
world…just for me.

17. He touched me AND EVERYTHING
VANISHED!
All the pain, anger, hurt, broken heartedness..
IMMEDIATELY WENT! He made me whole
again.
What I was searching for for years………..
Jesus did in seconds

18. I don’t know what you went through in life, but I
know what it is like to be abused. The thought of
getting up sounds impossible. But I did it, I found
my strength in Jesus. I encourage you, if your
burdens are too heavy and your legs are too tired to
walk again in life, surrender your life to Christ and
He will give you that strength. He did it for me and
He would do it for you. He shows no partiality .

19. He will wipe away every tear from your
eyes and He will always carry you when
the weight of the world is on your
shoulders. A loving Father, Friend and
Companion.

20. He taught me how to love myself, when
I hated the person I saw in the mirror

when I only had
hate for them

love His
people, just
as He loves
me

23. Invite Him in and accept Him as your Saviour if you
haven't yet.
He always care for His people and welcome them
with Open arms

24. He is all too willing to come
and carry ALL your burdens
Accept God’s gift of
