Tessellations are repeating patterns made with regular polygons that have no gaps or overlaps, where each corner or vertex meets and the interior angles total 360 degrees. Famous artists have used tessellations in their work by creating repeating patterns with regular shapes like triangles, squares and hexagons without any spaces in between.
