The Robin Hood project aims to empower individuals economically by creating alternative financial services through a cooperative model that promotes shared decision-making and profit redistribution for community projects. The cooperative operates as a hedge fund, utilizing an algorithm to manage investments on the stock exchange while also focusing on building the commons. The project is transitioning to the Ethereum blockchain to adapt to evolving needs and enhance its operational framework.

As an idea it is free, and as a process it is open source.

5. Robin Hood Coopertative is a twisted hedge fund
First, it is a cooperative. Individuals who buy shares of the cooperative decide how
it is run. One member, one vote.
Second, the money put into the fund is placed in the Wall Street stock exchange
by an algorithm called “The Parasite”.
Third, per the Robin Hood principle, part of the profit generated by the fund is
invested into projects building the commons.
