Our Tensor.NET Time and Attendance application
works in conjunction with Tensor’s clocking
stations – supporting contactless Smart Cards,
Key Fobs, or Fingerprint Biometrics - to monitor
real-time employee attendance, reduce
absenteeism and prevent time theft, payroll fraud
and “buddy punching“.
Tensor’s products helps your company save
time, cut payroll, admin and labour costs, whilst
bolstering employee productivity and improving
business efficiency with accurate job costings
and labour hour analysis.
Tensor.NET automatically calculates daily and
periodic overtime and premium payments, as
well as highlighting exceptions such as lateness
and core time violations.
Employee work rosters can be created to handle
all common working patterns, from continental
shifts to formal flexitime and annualised hours
payment schemes.
Absence records are maintained within the
system for each employee, for a range of custom
absence reasons and warnings, if employees
exceed their annual leave entitlement.
Data within Tensor.NET may be output to reports
generated by the system’s report designer.
These can be previewed, output as hard-copy or
emailed automatically at scheduled times on a
daily, weekly or monthly basis.
The system supports electronic data transfer;
import employee details and export payroll files.
These being compatible with major payroll
packages such as Sage™, Pegasus, Surepay and
Unity.
4. Tensor’s Self Service Module (“SSM”) is a web
based application used via an internet enabled
phone, tablet or desktop computer.
It allows enrolled employees to Clock IN/OUT
for Time & Attendance purposes and to book
themselves ON/OFF a fire evacuation list in the
event of a fire or emergency on site.
SSM can be used by employees to swiftly book
ON/OFF production jobs and to view their recent
clockings, job bookings or access transactions for
any period.
Employees can use SSM to view their current
holiday entitlement, request new periods of
absence, cancel pending absence requests or
cancel approved absence requests that have not
yet occurred.
Requests can also be made to add missed
clockings and amend or delete clockings.
Employees working a formal flexi-time system can
view their current flexi-balance in real time and
request adjustments to it.
Workers may also request a change to their
assigned shift, a shift swap with a work colleague
and can view their shift rota for any period.
Mobile clockings and job bookings, once
submitted, are transferred to the central
Tensor.NET application with GPS position data
to ascertain the mobile device’s location at the
time of clocking. Employee movements are then
displayed & plotted on a map viewable in
Tensor.NET. The application adapts to a sudden
loss of connectivity by caching offline requests on
the mobile device. Once a network connection
is restored, any cached information is transferred
immediately.

Tensor’s HR module integrates seamlessly with
other Tensor.NET Applications. Our HR module
shares the same customisable interface where
all colour schemes, information panels and the
format of data presentation are user configurable.
Access to sensitive personal information is strictly
controlled by the system’s security settings.
User account permissions define which
employees are accessible as well as the
application functionality available to the user.
The HR module records and maintains key
employee details - ongoing records of a person’s
internal employment history, their regular
reviews and appraisals, plus accidents, medical
and disciplinary incidents. All entered into a
standardised, simple to user interface.
All the data necessary to manage employees
and meet statutory requirements.
This includes work permits and CRB checks.
The software generates custom reports based
upon combinations of personnel data sets, which
may be selected through an intuitive point and
click interface.
The designer controls the order and contents
of each report column, in conjunction with
additional report filters that can be applied to
limit processed information.
Report selection criteria can range from individual
employees to groupings based upon any of
the system’s organisational units, such as site or
department.
Font and page properties may also be
customised further in the Advanced Designer
section. Reports can be previewed, output as
hard-copy or exported in a variety of file formats
including PDF, HTML and CSV.

The Management of Contractors and Visitors
Software (“MCVS”) is a network based
application that allows you to advance book
visitor appointments and pre-book on site
contractors. These bookings can be made either
via the Tensor.NET Application or the SSM - Self-
Service Web module. As soon as an appointment
is booked, notification emails are sent to both
the visitor and their host informing them of the
appointment’s date, time and location.
When visitors are checked IN on arrival, they are
given their visitor pass, based upon a badge
template created by Tensor.NET’s pass designer.
A further email informs the appointment host
of their arrival. MCVS will handle both single
and multi-day appointments with one or more
attendees. All appointments can be viewed in
a graphical diary using daily, weekly & monthly
calendar views.
The system updates a database of visitor
information as appointments are booked and
visitors arrive. Personal visitor details, visitor
company information, images and scanned in
documents are all recorded by the system for
later retrieval. Appointment information stored
in Tensor.NET may be output using reports
generated by the system’s report designer.
Visitors arriving at an unmanned reception can
be checked IN by the MCVS Standalone Console.
A filtered search list allows a visitor to quickly
select their appointment via the consoles touch
screen. Alternatively, contractors can scan their
bar-coded passes at a bar-code scanner
attached to the Console to book themselves
on site. The visitor’s pass is then automatically
printed while an email is sent to the employee
hosting the appointment.

Tensor’s facial recognition technology is simply
– the best there is. It’s designed specifically for
fast, discrete identification/registration of known/
unknown individuals, whether in a large crowd at
a stadium or festival or in public places such as
airports, train stations, shopping centres or urban
areas.
The system dynamically compares images of
individuals from incoming video streams against
those stored in a predefined list and immediately
alerts the appropriate people when a positive
match occurs. The technology yields a very
good level of performance even when there are
partial occlusions of the face; the use of glasses,
scarves or caps, changes of facial expression
and moderate rotations of the face. Moreover, it
does not allow users to be impersonated using
photographs.
Our Facial Recognition CCTV system is easily
integrated with existing ID management products
and enables administrators to create Whitelists/
Blacklists for specific areas. People are easily and
quickly enrolled from one or more photographs
and/or video clips, negating the need for a
subject to be physically enrolled.
Optimized for GPU computing architectures, the
Tensor Facial Recognition system is 40 times faster
than traditional systems (up to 150 fps), and works
with very high-resolution video streams - up to 150
fps with high resolution IP cameras.
It analyses multiple cameras simultaneously and
fully supports runtime alarm management, is
highly tunable (control based on time-frames,
sequentially, etc.) and even allows alarms to be
exported to common formats (PDF, Excel) and
remote devices (mobile, PDA, tablet, security
control centre).

Car park barriers are ideal for controlling your
site’s car park and road entry points.
Barriers are an efficient and effective way of
increasing premises security and can double-up
as a way of monitoring the number of vehicles
passing through the control point.
Your security control system can stop vehicles
or personnel at the relevant barrier and prevent
entry or exit until they identify themselves via their
contactless access smart cards. Using our access
management system, you have full control over
who is allowed access through any controlled
point at any time of the day.
Suitable for large and small premises, our
automatic barriers are highly adaptable working
in any weather conditions to give maximum
throughput to authorised personnel.
Tensor barriers are supplied complete, ready
to accept power and data connections.
They operate with Automatic Number Plate
Recognition (“ANPR”), Access Control and
ticketing systems.
Installing ANPR cameras at a car park’s entrance
and exit and checking number plates against
an existing Access Control database lets
organisations rest easy that only authorised
vehicles are able to access their premises.
Plus, with ANPR and automatic barriers, access to
any car park can be significantly improved and
streamlined.
Boom arms are available in different lengths to
suit the road width with each barrier mechanism
individually adjusted to meet your needs.
This ensures exceptional durability (all of our
products are virtually 100% corrosion-free) and
delivers a long lasting, problem-free operation.
