The way it works:
Acorns connects to a debit or credit card
to "round up" the spare change to the
next dollar on all purchases. Once the
roundups reach $5, it withdraws the
money and invests in a personalized
stock portfolio.

• Mint is a personal favorite of mine.
• If you aren’t budgeting most of your money, you are wasting an
opportunity.
• Some budgets I personally use that have made me stop and think
before I make another purchase
• You can also set goals for a specific date in time, track them, and it
will show what you need to put away to save up for your goal.

So what is the catch?
• It is 100% free, driven by advertising recommendations to
save you money.
• You have to connect all accounts electronically by providing
your usernames and password. Security is one of mint’s
biggest priorities.
• I have used mint.com for 2 years, and I don’t regret it. It has
helped me save 1000’s of dollars. It alerts me when I have an
unusual purchase, monitors my credit, and other things. It will
send you a text when a bill is due in the next 5 days, and also
if you are really close to maxing out your budget categories.

• Helped me save $1000’s on purchases
• Type in the store you are at or going to and it will show
all coupons ever used. Shows codes to use online too
