The Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan, Italy underwent renovation to create more open, connected, and multi-purpose spaces. The renovated theater complex consists of eight different spaces spread over three levels that can be used simultaneously or independently. It includes a large foyer that serves as the central hub, a main theater with 500 seats, a smaller theater with 180 seats, a cafe, and other rooms that provide a variety of performance and event spaces. The architectural redesign by Michele De Lucchi aimed to make the spaces light-filled while allowing for experimental performances, installations, and community activities.
