  2. Our objective of raising as much money as possible for the Relief Aid Local Charity in our neighborhood is truly commendable. By involving as many neighbors as possible, we can create a strong sense of community and solidarity, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we can work towards a common goal of raising funds for Relief Aid, ensuring that every dollar raised goes towards providing essential clothing for refugees. Let's join forces and make a meaningful impact in our neighborhood and beyond. I am confident that our passion and determination, coupled with the support of everyone in our community, will lead to a successful fundraising campaign for Relief Aid. We plan on raising funds by marketing and selling our “Eden” refreshing drink. In the following slides, we will go into more details on how this business can raise funds to meet our objective of providing clothing for refugees at our local charity.

To understand the key data points in our refreshing drink business, let's break down each one: Fixed costs: Fixed costs refer to the expenses that remain constant regardless of the level of production or sales. In this case, the fixed costs include shop rental, utilities like power, water, and trash. These costs are incurred regardless of the number of drinks sold. Variable cost: Variable costs, on the other hand, are directly related to the production or sale of each unit. In this case, the variable cost is $0.30 per drink. It includes the cost of ingredients, packaging, and any other expenses that vary with the number of drinks produced. Price and percent of demand: The price of $0.8 per drink is set to attract 61% of the people in the community. This means that at this price, 61% of the potential customers are willing to purchase the drink. The price is a crucial factor in determining the demand for the product. This data can be extrapolated from the Percent Demand vs Price Per Cup graph. Break-even point: The break-even point is the level of sales at which the total revenue equals the total costs, resulting in zero profit or loss. In this case, the break-even point is 10,708 drinks. Selling this number of drinks will cover all the fixed and variable costs, resulting in neither profit nor loss. This implies, we will have to sell more than this amount of drinks to make profits. This data can be obtained from the Money vs Units Sold graph at the point where the Annual Costs curve intersects with the Annual Revenue curve. Annual net profit: The annual net profit is the amount of money left after deducting all the expenses from the total revenue. In this case, the annual net profit is $3,035, with a profit margin of 23%. The profit margin represents the percentage of profit earned on each dollar of revenue. Break-even analysis graph: The break-even analysis graph visually represents the relationship between sales volume, costs, and profit. It helps in understanding the point at which the business starts making a profit. The choice of price impacts the percent of demand because it determines the number of customers willing to purchase the drink. By setting the price at $0.8, the business attracts 61% of the potential customers, maximizing the demand and potential sales. In summary, understanding these data points is crucial for managing our refreshing drink business effectively. By analyzing fixed costs, variable costs, price, percent of demand, break-even point, and annual net profit, we can make informed decisions to optimize profitability and ensure the success of this venture.
