My Favorite Teacher
My favorite teacher was my band director in high
school. Her name was Ms. Houston. She
inspired me to be a teacher because she played
a big role in so many of my classmates lives. She
always knew the right thing to say to make
anyone feel better and she used music to inspire
us.
Why Do I Want To Be A
     Teacher?
I want to be a teacher because I want to inspire
my students the way that Ms. Houston inspired
me. I want to be a positive role model to all of my
students because not everyone has one at
home. I want to get kids excited about school
and help them to realize that they can do
anything if they set their mind to it.
What Kind of Teacher Do I
      Want to Be?
 I want to be an elementary school teacher
 because I want to help lay the foundation for a
 student’s attitude about school. If they are
 excited about school, that will carry on over into
 middle school, high school and college. I want to
 be a teacher much like the ones that I had that
 fired me up about learning. I hope to teach first or
 second grade.
