Teacher Training Provides Skills for Quality Education
1. Teacher Training
Training was organized by OPD in SAS Model School Gujranwala from 21st Nov - 01st Dec,
2012. The main objective of the training was understanding and sensitization community leaders,
Government and private institution on current challenges and future need of education.
Training was very interactive and fruitful for the participants and they were able to learn
teaching techniques and practical exercise. Sensitization of communities and institution about
education facing some challenges as this phenomenon is quit unusual and new for community as
well as institution. Nevertheless, participants were able to learn the values of teachers, role of
teacher in community / nation, teaching techniques, current challenges and future need.
Ms.Sobia, Ms.Ghazala, Ms.Naila, Mr.Wajid Ali and Ms.Azmat were the facilitator of training.

4. Topic covered during the training workshop
Topics and contents of the training were selected according to the primary objective of
Teacher training which enhance the teaching skill to deliver the quality of education.
Aims and Objective of the trainings.
Measurement & Evaluation Difference,Tests Items Objective & Subjective
Morning Meeting, News & Announcement, Schedule, Story Telling.
Cell. Tissue, Organ, Organ system, Nervous system, Force in science.
Fraction, Geometry, Data Handling in Math.
Timeline, Mapping, Role Play, Lesson Planning in Social studies.
The proceedings of the workshop were formally initiated by Miss SobiaRazzaq.She welcomed
the participants and impressed upon them the importance of teachers training which focuses
more on new techniques of teaching.She further elaborated on the need for pre level classes and
shared the aims and objective of training.
Furthermore,she facilitated the session of Class Room Management the new directions of
teachers training specially a focus on new teaching techniques.
2. She emphasized the participants to start
practicing work the innovative tools and
techniques of teaching at pre level.It would
be developed with the help of Government,
private school, education forum and
international education institute according
to need and gap identify in education at
different level on the basis of studies
conducted by national and international
organization to develop, modification and
implementation model.
In the next presentation,Mr.Wajid Ali Qadri shared training prioritization with the
participants.To inform teachers about importance of personality and to aware the effect of
teacher’s personality on student.Participants asked questions and get suggestions about their
weakness in classroom,about child matters.
After that Miss Ghazala introduces herself.Training was started by questioning As,”what is
cell,first of all the participants were confused but the trainer indulge all the participants in
training.As well as participants share their problems in classroom.
Second session was taken by Miss
NailaFiaz.The session was about
Physics.The topic of Force was discussed
.The examples were given according to
routine life.Topic related questions were
asked.
In ECE Ms.SobiaRazzaq aware the
participants teaching techniquesof
earlyeducation.All participants were excited
about this training they show great interest
and share their problems.They asked
different questions about classroom
problems. They learn low and no cost teaching material.
3. Discussion:
All the trainers trained the participants with advance and easy way of teaching and tried their
best to reduce the hesitation and to increase their efficiency in teaching methodology.According
to the trainer’s observation,all the participants have lack of confidence,fear and hesitation in
expressing their ideas and difficulties during teaching.The trainers involved the participants with
activities and try to eliminate their hesitation.As a result they show their interests in trainings and
they share their problems and difficulties which were very well responded and explained by the
trainers.
Recommendation
Training duration should increase.
Such trainings should conduct at middle and high level.
Duration of science and mathematics trainings should at least one week.
Training should conduct twice a year at same location.
