− ANZIIFF: Commenced the Life Insurance Diploma 2011, to be completed 2015. I have
recently been advised for the remaining three modules I will be granted Recognition of
prior learning based on my experience and prior education, this should be completed
by November 2015

Introduction Summary:
I have had 6 Years Reinsurers experience, and have started my career with Mercantile &
General which I feel was a very good base to start off an Underwriting career, give
dealing with various clients, different product ranges etc.
I also have a Secondary school teaching diploma and have taught for 4 years teaching
Biology & Science - I feel this is a very important attribute as it could assist in any
potential future training that I could get involved in i.e. training and coaching staff,
preparation and presentation of project and work related work
Twenty year’s' experience in Insurance, provides me with a sound base in dealing with
customers being Underwriters, Advisors, MDM’s etc. and handling difficult discussions
as well as building relationships.
I am very good at multi-tasking and organising given this role will have quite a few
different functionalities attached to it I am sure I will be proven to be an excellent
organiser based on prioritising matters in a timely matter.
Having a BSc Honours degree back ground - I am more than capable in conducting any
research project work especially when it comes to market trends and developing new
strategies
I have completed my Recognition of prior learning to obtain the Life Insurance diploma,
ANZIFF. This should be completed by May 2015
